If they would take that shit sandwich for Horford and Smith I'd be all over it, but there is a zero percent chance that they even entertain a trade like this. We don't have the assets to get Horford.

Horford plays hard and is a good young talent I would be down with it.

Smith thinks he's a star and that he has Dirk's jumper. No. Thx.

The only reason I wouldn't want Horford on the Mavs is his contract. He's a good player and a more than adequate starting center. It'd just be difficult to find a deal that would entice Atl to trade him without sacrificing the Mavs' ability to make other moves they'd need to make.

Stop with this BS. Horford has almost a bargain contract and is the cornerstone of the franchise.

Like I said, I like him, but I'm not sure how 12 per for Horford under the current CBA is almost a bargain, and I'm not sure by what standard he should be considered a singular franchise cornerstone. I am pretty sure it's all moot, though, as I can't see what incentive Atlanta would have to trade him to the Mavs.

Horford isn't exactly a bargain, but he isn't overpaid whatsoever. He's easily a top 5 center and plays hard on both ends. You have to see him on defense to appreciate him. I'd love to see him next to Dirk.
