Why would we pay $8m/year for Jarrett Jack to be Chris Paul's backup?
EDIT:

Jason Kidd: It’s gotten to the point that Knicks coach Mike Woodson is being widely praised for benching Kidd during the second half of New York’s series-extending Game 5 win over the Pacers.
Kidd failed to score for the ninth consecutive game, missing a layup in the second quarter. The missed shot was the only stat Kidd recorded during his 5:20 of playing time.
Woodson opted to play rookie Chris Copeland instead of Kidd. Copeland responded by giving the Knicks a much-needed spark, scoring 13 points in 19 minutes. Kidd has scored a total of 11 points in 11 games this postseason, shooting 12 percent from the floor.

Did you watch this game? He hit a very key floater late in the game and was one of the few players that actually tried to break down the defense by driving it versus just jacking up a jump shot.

Yeah, last night he hit a couple of shots, but for the most part every shot he's been taking in the 4th quarter has been a long, contested shot. Sure he's hit some of them but that strategy just doesn't work. He's a good 20-25 mpg 6th man but signing him for any role bigger than that is a big mistake IMO. Especially at the prices some people are talking. $7M-plus for a point guard that can't run an offense? No thanks.

I am sure we'll hear that Tyson was playing through at least one pretty significant injury. I know in the last month or so he hurt his neck and throughout the season he's had back trouble. I don't see any other reason that he would get dominated so thoroughly.

Jason Kidd:
Did not score in his last 200+ minutes of playing time.
Just unreal. And the Knicks have him for two more years. They better convince him to retire.

And that is the best ammo the FO has for not keeping him...injuries. Hibbert was a tough match-up.

That is a flagrant. Ginobili is NOT going for the ball.

Lol right? It was a hard foul, but man did Allen sell that flagrant.
First time watching the Heat during this playoff series and I cannot help but feeling sick to my stomach. Dislike that team so much.

Refs doing their best to keep Heat in the game.
Battier just hit Hansbrough in the face and they called
the foul on Hansbrough! Also about 3-5 secs after the contact.
Not to mention Diva grabbing Hill by the arm in full view of the ref to "steal" the ball
Really just pathetic. Hibbert, West and Stephenson all with 4

Look at this Chris Andersen. 14 minutes - 12 pts. Not too bad.

Lebron grabs Paul George by the arm, about to get the rebound, and pulls him to the floor and NO CALL. Wouldve been Lebron's 5th foul with 6mins to go. A couple other questionable calls after that too. If anybodys going to beat the Heat they'll have to overcome the officiating too. Thats pretty clear at least judging by the way this game is going.

Allen misses FT, Vogel calls timeout, George makes 3-pointer, Allen misses 3-pointer... OT.

I hope Indian learns from this and comes back stronger, but this was a devastating way to loose on the road.
The good news is they KNOW they can hang with the Heat, that should give them tremendous confidence.. I hope.

The refs sucked balls but they made a ton of calls that favored the pavers too

Agreed. I was just pointing out the blatantly obvious missed calls or no-calls. Which IMO overwhelmingly favoured the Heat. Monte McCutcheon is seriously sketchy

loved the 5 second call against D.Wade - his incredulous look is something to behold.
I wish I could recall what the announcers saying something to the effect of that being only the 5th time all season that has been called - or something like that.
someone correct please....

I think he is banged up.
That said, Chandler has always been an ELITE team defender, with terrific skills against PnR and face-up bigs.
As a low post defender, he has always been much closer to just average. He takes advantage of playing in an era when there are fewer & fewer back-to-the-basket bigs to expose that.
