Larkin making his best Roddy impression is surely a crappy start to a career.

Him getting injured so quickly gives me the impression that he was probably being ultra aggressive...does anyone know exactly how he got hurt?

I'm actually really excited to see four different guys in summer league.
Ledo- I wanna see the top 3 prospect out of high school whose been hiding for a year. Should he have been drafted in the top 5 this year? No one knows because he hasn't played in any big games since high school.
Mekel- is he Ricky Rubio jr.? Guy looks like he can pass and has a leader mentality. I wanna see some pistol pete passes or at least some floor leadership.
James- dude was a stud last year (10pts, 9reb, 2.6blocks) and I hope he's grown (stronger) and gotten more polished
Crowder- I want to see this new thinner frame on a guy that may take a huge leap this year from an excellent rookie season.

Dude's greatest advantage is his speed, agility and hops. It's not too hard to imagine him trying to throw it down on a bigger guy and coming down wrong. He has the second highest vertical in NBA combine history with a 44-inch running vertical.

I'm most excited to see ledo, crowder, and carmichael, i really think carmichael is going to surprise some people and if for whatever reason brand isn't back he may make the roster. I get the feeling Mekel will disappoint some folks someone I talked to called him a above average D league talent, he can't shoot and his only real skill is his pick n roll play.

Is it worth going to watch in person? Never seen a summer league game and don't have NBA TV. I live 20 minutes from the arena.

He's like 3 years older than Rubio. I want to see him too, i think he could be a very good backup PG in this league. The israelian league, while not that strong, it still gave the Euroleague winner in a couple seasons if i remember correctly, so it can't be that crap. And Mekel was the MVP of that league. He's a very good passer.

I'm sure there will be a couple of links before the start (which is like 1 hour 50 minutes), check back before the game.

Usually it's very bad quality, lot's of one on one basketball, but when you are interested in a player of two, sure, it's worth it. If i would live near, i'd watch it, but if no player really interests you on our roster, and just want to watch a good basketball game because you missed it, you probably going to be dissappointed.

Otherwise, Summer League cost only $15. I got it last week before the Orlando games started. Pretty good deal when the stream is working.

I am definitely interested in seeing Mekel/Crowder/Ledo, and for $25. I might head over if i cant find a decent feed. Firstrow doesnt do it for me.

Is Crowder still going to be at the 3? I read somewhere Carlisle asked him to drop 15 pounds to play the 2.

I always have a feeling during summer league games that they play on a smaller court. Could it be?

I don't think so, he is a passer, not a scorer, and didn't see him pumping the ball at any possession, he gets rid of the ball fast, made some nice passes that could have led to more assists, or hockey-assist opportunities. I like him.

Nah, the court is the same size, but the tiny gym and tighter sidelines make it look smaller.
