Is this somehow related to the greg anthony story?

All this will lead to something lame, like a $100k fine on the Patriots.
Or nothing at all. I won't underestimate the NFL.

Relax... that joke has been out there for a few days already. And it is used more to satirize the right wing outrage meme. Examples:
The joke has way more to do with the GOP/Fox News politicizing of the event than those who were victimized in the attacks.

So it's okay to use some dead people as a joke because politics. Cool story.

Twitter and Sharpton wouldn't explode because it doesn't make any sense and barely counts as a joke. Ballghazi is lampooning those that felt Benghazi was being covered up by the media (a conspiracy). The ball deflating stuff is another alleged conspiracy.

I guess it's never okay to joke about anything in which people die, even if the joke isn't even a joke about the deaths of others. I'll make sure i don't laugh at the Soup Nazi next time I watch Seinfeld. The 11 million that died in the Holocaust means that that joke is exactly one million times more offensive.

Really, no cover up allegations in St. Louis, New York, etc.? Hint: rhymes with 'flu hall.'

Hey, you can be as off color as you want. I'm just pointing out that spreedom's "it's okay because it's directed at Republications/Fox News" is not a very defensible position. I'm sure some Nazis once said the same thing to justify withholding soup (and other things) from Jews.

Also, if Brandon Carr can improve (or we draft his replacement), then we will immediately be better. I like the guy, but he is way too inconsistent.

DeMarco Murray Expected To Sign With Eagles
Ewww, Philly... Not quite the same as Finely going to San Antonio, but it has a similar feel. I wish nothing but good things for DeMarco Murray, but I hope they all come after his season-ending injury in training camp.

Sorry my fellow friends but you're all Nuts. Murray was 90 % the reason for your teams success last season and is probably the leagues best combined Runner/Receiver in the NFL. Yeah you all can try and convince yourself that he is easily replaceable, but you wait and see. Yes there are some very good RB's in this draft but still they are always either a hit or miss, and they take time to develop. Murray got less then either Lynch or McCoy...and Murray is way better. This will reduce Dallas at best next year to a 8 win team and behind the Eagles.

The Cowboys have too many people to pay and too many holes to fill, plain & simple... Murray was great, but gutting the team to keep him isn't going to get the Cowboys any closer to a Super Bowl -- Dallas just couldn't match that deal.
If the Patriots have proven anything over the last decade, it's that you can't get wedded to players... You might not be able to replace 100% of their production, but getting 70% from a guy who costs 20% as much while improving the rest of your roster is what's going to keep you in contention.

Cowboys just signed Darren McFadden... It doesn't make my d!ck move, but he comes cheap and should be a decent change of pace back -- if he stays healthy (he did play 16 games last season, so there's that...)

When we see how Murray does in Philly and how McFadden and a rookie to be named later do in Dallas this year, we will get to see just how much of Murray's success last year was due to the best offensive line in football. It should be interesting.

I'm not so far on this side as many other Cowboy fans are, but I will say that I won't miss Murray fumbling the ball in key situations...especially that Julius Pepper one vs Greenbay. That, the injury history, and the price tag made his departure a relatively easy one to make.

Hell yes... And here's some fuel for the fire: Stars align for Adrian Peterson to end up in Dallas

I doubt anyone thinks one person will easily replace Murray. A committee could replace him just fine. However, you are vastly overstating Murray. Murray had the best O-Line in football AND he had Dez and Romo to make sure you could not stack the box. So he ran against soft defense all year with the best Oline. Not to mention he has never been healthy till last year which by "TOTAL accident" was a contract year(and he still had a broken hand). By no means was murray "90%" the reason. The O line which allowed Romo all freaking day to throw and paved massive holes for murray while dez drew double and even triple coverage is the majority reason.

So the Eagles currently have a cripple at QB, he may or may not be their qb next year. They may or may not trade him in some type of picks obtaining move to package up for a rookie qb. Traded away mccoy for a linebacker coming off acl injury, had the nfl's 31st ranked pass defense, lost trent cole, lost maclin. Best wr is currently matthews followed by the "stellar" riley cooper. 11m in cap space is tied up this year at your RB position by 3 players 2 of them being injury prone. I fail to see anything in what the eagles have done to place them at 9+ wins and Dallas 8 wins or fewer. You don't even know who your QB is for crying out loud. Your fallback is of course butt fumble, err Mark Sanchez.
back to murray-
Cowboys are spending big money at QB, WR, TE, and OL. With a poor defense. We can't pay murray 40m with half of it guaranteed with the holes this team has on defense and with players up for contract in the future that are more important(OL, Dez obv).

Tono Romo just restructured his contract so the Cowboys have about $12.8M in cap space. Adrian Peterson's 2015 salary? $12.75M.
Take him, please!!!
