Yeah, great line... I think these announcers are talking more about Holger than Orlando at this point.

Dirk's about set for a playoff run. Now a Parsons and Aminu combo can finish it.

Mavs getting a bit complacent in their lead -- down to 7.

Parsons needs to stop hiding on offense. On some instances when Dirk rests. This can would be over already.

I have only been able to watch parts of this game. What did Parsons do to get benched?

LOL. The Mavs were never even trailing and Rondo played elite defense down the stretch. And Rondo was the best guard on the roster.

You do realize Ellis was like 2-11 in the 2nd half, had two assists, and made absolutely zero defensive plays, right?

His shtick with Rondo no longer works now that he's actually adjusted to his team mates.
I'm not a fan of Ellis ball down the stretch - it's a bit frustrating to watch him put up dumb shot after dumb shot.

Yeah, even when he makes them, I rarely think Ellis gets really good looks from midrange late in games. That's kind of the rub with him... he is great at getting in the lane but doesn't seem to get very many calls, and when he continues to get fouled he stops driving and ends up shooting a high volume from like 40% range.
I still think he's worth bringing back if you can find a reserve role for him (or if you replace Rondo with both a quality point guard that is also a very good fit next to Ellis... easier said than done).

I still think a simple move like signing Ellington as a starter and move Ellis to a Terry/Carter role would work for this team next season.

Are you talking about the same Ellington that couldn't get off the bench last season for the Mavs and put up mediocre stats for the sh!tty Lakers this season??... Asking for a friend who happens to be mentally disabled (don't make fun!)
