Ricky Ledo Appreciation thread
Seemed like a decent wager when the draft came around and played hard.
He'll probably tear it up in the D-league or go to Europe/Asia.
May he be happy and successful wherever he goes.

This wont be the last we would see from him on the NBA. Hope other team with an spot and time pick him and develop his game!

I liked the pick at the time. Thought he was worth a gamble as a second round pick. Wish he could have made a bigger impact, but not playing ball in college really hurt his development. Best of luck, Ricky!

I kinda doubt he's signed by another club. Its been two years and he's not even tearing up the D-League. I think he'll be back to the Legends for the remainder of the year

Who actually witnessed him scoring a basket in an NBA game and REMEMBERS it? He has made 0 field goals this season and 1 free throw so if you claimed that you remembered him making one this season that would be a lie. haha

Ive watched better guys not make it to the NBA and do well overseas. I see him going overseas unless he wants to stick around the D League.

He showed flashes of talent, but he's just not capable of contributing on a playoff team right now. I hope a lottery team picks him up and gives him a chance. But let's face it, we simply had to cut him because he wears Amare's jersey #. It had to be done, sorry Ricky.

Well it was a Low Risk - High Reward move that didnt pan out.
Dallas is not the place to develop young talent. I think he should try his luck in Europe and compete on the highest level over there. Maybe he gets another shot in 2-3 years when his game developed. Would not be the first to do so.

Is moving from the Texas Legends to the New York Knicks considered a setback or just a lateral move?
But seriously, I'm happy for him.

Lateral move the whole way
Although the pay is much higher.
Ledo was on a 13k salary in the D-league for the whole season. Ledo just got 48k prorated for only three weeks in the NBA.
