Personally hope that he hits free agency, gets a 10mill/year contract from the Lakers and fights all year with Kobe as the Lakers go 25-57, all while getting a cover article on Sports Illustrated.

I would LOVE to know how Rondo would help the Lakers.

so disappointed in Rondo.
To quit on your team like that and possibly cost us this series - wow.
It's one thing to rebel against your coach but to let down your teammates - double wow.
How could you look your fellow teammates in the eye ever again.

Hope he signs with the Lakers and spends three years in a continuous tantrum along side Kobe. After the Lakers waive him, I hope he signs with the Knicks where he incessantly argues with Phil Jackson and Melo. After two years of New York, New York... i hope he finishes his career by playing along side Dwyane Wade and making him miserable.

I really like Rondo, he has a very high stubborn competitive nature. But I can't defend him on this. This is really sad. This is arguably the most talented Mavericks team I seen. But with Chandler Parsons injury and Rondo' s team issues, this team is probably going fishing next week.

I'll say, as one of the most outspoken supporters of the Rondo acquisition, that the Mavs are already more fun to watch now than they have been since Christmas.

I'm sure the Mavs fans here won't miss Rondo's fluid offensive moves, like his Lay-ups.

I think we should thank Rondo. If he had played decent and had an ok attitude we might have brought him, Monta and Tyson back. Instead we got Jordan/Matthews and maybe Lin or Joseph.

Rajon Rondo said in a postgame interview with Cowbell Kingdom that "It's not been going too well," regarding his relationship with head coach George Karl.
When asked how his relationship with coach Karl is, Rondo said "It's not been going too well. We got into a couple arguments the last couple of days, hopefully we continue to talk and it will get better." Rondo had 11 points and six assists on Tuesday night, but clearly things aren't ideal between the coach and his starting point guard, which is not new territory for Rondo.

The man is just way too talented to have to keep putting up with all this crap from coaches. Free Rondo!

I once thought he was very talented, but now I'm not so sure. He is still a good passer, but those great defensive and rebounding days are long behind him.

Flashy passer and great passer are 2 different things. He turns it over too often and doesn't usually put players in the best position to score. Steve Nash was a great passer. Kidd was a great passer but lacked the ability to break down defenses off the dribble in the half court game. Which is why Barea and Terry were pivotal to Dallas's offense.

Jason Kidd couldn't break down defenses off the dribble?

Not in his second stance with the mavs. He was more of a spot up shooter. He usually dribbled around the perimeter to set up someone up on their motion offense. He did occasionally post up with a size advantage. But both Terry and Barea were more capable of breaking down defenses off the dribble during their championship year.

Thank you for costing us a draft pick that could be a good one. Unless the mavs are interested in tanking we aren't The Mavs are on the mediocre treadmill. I hope the Kings implode with to divisive personalities like Cousins and Rondo.

Other than rondo being a douche and butting heads with rick, why couldn't he be successful here. He's posting good numbers in Sacramento and they are better with him on it..

It was a combination of Rick and not really wanting to be here. He was pissed in Boston already with the downslide there and then you get traded to a team midseason that isn't really a good fit. His motivation was on an all-time low probably and here comes Rick, who doesn't excuse such sentiment.

Rondo needs to be surrounded by shooters to be successful. Something he didn't have here. Even with him posting good numbers with the Kings they're still terrible.
