Devin Harris would be a chess piece I would position in this case.

With tired legs we probably lost this, but some good play from PArsons.

Well, allowing 45% three point shooting is an issue.

Alright, I'm calling it. Defense and rebounding are too bad.
Can't allow 55% shooting and 45% from three and then shoot 37% and 30%
Also outrebounded 32-40

Oh I see what's happening here. Mavs are playing an above .500 team.
Who is also on a b2b so don't give the tired legs excuse for one b2b

Really annoying how the organ player in the arena plays while ATL is on offense. Is that normal?

I think that's what it would look like if I tried to defend NBA players, John Jenkins.

Deron/Powell for Teague please.
Seriously, Deron is always hurt. He and Harris just can't be consistently relied upon.

Hawks trading Teague just for a wing...they desperatly want and need a new SF after Carroll went to Toronto...
But im fine with Devin getting shipped out. Always hurt, not the best fit as SG and as backup PG we have Barea

The Hawks have been giving the Mavs problems for a couple of years now. Last night was no different. Lol.

@jkubatko: Wesley Matthews now has 1,000 career 3PM. Only players w/ more since his debut are Curry and Harden (via @statmuse)

Teague would be great in Carlisle system. Alas, we don't have the assests.
Devin Harris, Mcgee I would be fine letting go but that's not enough to attract anyone

RC would find a way to get pissed with him and they end up in a feud.

Watched Pacers/Cavs rerun... Cavs went small and Pacers didn't match them, instead they went big and killed them on boards during that stretch. I rly don't know why we don't do that every now and then just to get a different look. Even if those guys are offensively limited it's not like the guys we are putting out there are lighting it up consistently.
--Edit--
Felt it was on topic due to our small ball play every game but can be moved to around nba if not.

Agreed, RC has gotten carried away with small ball. We go small and the opponent kills us in the paint. I cringe every time I see Powell or Charlie V on the floor with Dirk. Those guys are fours.

Hard to go/stay big when we don't have the personnel. No dominant bigs, no shot blocking, not much rebounding.

And the guards aren't consistently good enough/healthy to rely on small ball. This conundrum is what keeps the Mavs from being one of the better teams in the league.

I'd like to think that if Carlisle had a Myles Turner lying around, he would use him, and Charlie V wouldn't play so much. I'd like to think that.

I think he would also. I was mainly noting how they used Turner and Hill plus had PG13 at the 3. They could have just used PG13 at the 4 and went small with just Turner but they were big in fc which did not expose their small bc with G.Hill and Ellis. If our bigs are not good enough to have a 4 and 5 on then find a way to keep wes as the 2(instead of 2 pg's and him as the 3). I don't think we have to be small in both fc and bc at the same time. And CP has been doing a good job exploiting opposing teams when he goes to the 4 because he has a quickness advantage. However we surrender just as much defensively obviously by the awful +-'s numbers for those lineups even when CP has been on fire. Times like that there is no need for 2 pg's to be on the floor with CP at the 4. If the purpose is to get the ball in his hands so he can get inside and either finish or create a shot with his advantage vs opposing 4's then take one of the pg's out and put in JA so wes can stay at the 2. So on the other end we at least can defend the perimeter better while we are small inside. And even if Powell doesn't shoot particularly well I'd rather see him at the 4 than CV3. So while not "bigger" than CV3 his game plays bigger to me, at least on the boards.
