The Mavs FO has an awful habit of highly overvaluing their own guys (Marquis Daniels, J-Ho, Roddy, etc.)

Powell is a nice energy guy, but he really isn't anything special, and I don't see him becoming anything special. Kind of a 4/5 tweener with an unreliable J, no 3 point range, poor finisher. Aggressive, good rebounder, rolls to basket well. Pretty bad defender (though not for a lack of effort). Don't see him as a starter in his career.

Well considering Indy offered a first rounder for Roddy suggests that might not be a bad thing....a 1st rounder that turned out to be Paul George. However Donnie probably would have picked someone else.

Indy offered a first rounder for Roddy and the Mavs FO *didn't* do it when they should have...
