Bosh still hasn't said anything one way or another -- he could retire, he could be fine, it depends on what his doctors say... And Miami's pursuit of Durant probably indicates that he'll be back, otherwise why do they think they have a shot? Durant isn't going to a rebuild, which is what they'd be if Bosh retired.

Besides, I don't think Bosh (or Dirk, for that matter) has anything to do with Whiteside's decision -- he's looking for the best longterm situation... Neither of those guys will be around at the end of his contract.

Yep. Bosh can play at an elite level for many years to come but his condition has to be considered very dangerous and risky to continue. Shame too because I really like Bosh as a player and person. 1 of the few Miami players I've ever actually liked TBH.
