Bogut would be amazing. Easily top 5 at his position on a per-minute basis. Now, granted, he is not a guy who can play 30+ minutes at this point, but he would be a heckuva signing. With Barnes, I could see us improving next season. If you will not tank, you might as well get a player like Bogut. Still not high on Barnes, but maybe he will work on his game like crazy during this summer, and comes back with improved handles and jumpshot.

I would rather have Ezeli or even Speights. Bogut is just not a offensive option at all.

Is he a Vet? Check.
Is he on a short term contract? Check.
Does he have injury problems? Check.
I think we know how this ends.....

I was on board with Ezeli until I really started watching him in the playoffs. Kerr was literally trying to hide him. He was really bad, and in the finals it was clear his lack of skills. I guess he could improve but I was scared off.

Sources say Dallas, furthermore, has emerged as a strong potential trade destination for Andrew Bogut, who the Warriors must now move.

Maybe just cap space + a 2nd round pick? Better not be a 1st round pick.

It wont be a 1st. Firstrounder have much much more value the past years with rookie contracts being so damn cheap right now. Cap and a 2nd.

The Warriors love Bogut and, sources say, are inclined to try to send him to a destination he likes. Bogut and Barnes are also good pals

I remember RJ and Bogut were buddies in GS also, and RJ likes Cuban.

I want Donnie to look into Pau Gasol if we land Bogut. Gasol would be a solid addition to backup Dirk.

Aren't we eventually going to run out of money? 24 million to Barnes, I don't remember what Bogut makes isn't it like 15? Are we going to lowball Dirk again?

SA gunning for Pau, especially since Timmy is considering retirement.

Bogut is a better offensive player than both, you are way off here. He would obviously play a different role with us than he did with the Warriors, he actually has a post game and is an excellent passer, not Ezeli, nor Speights can say that. His only problem is that he's injury prone.

So a potential starting five of:
Deron
Wes
Harrison
Dirk
Bogut
I could live with that. It would be exciting to watch.
With Durant signing in OKC, we (and all but one or two teams) have a snow balls chance in hell of winning a championship.

Never know if Pau gets interested in Dallas if we add Barnes and Bogut. Things can open up.

Dammit, guy -- Pau is not choosing Dallas over San Antonio. We're not even rumored to be in the mix... Just stop.

My point was we only have about 50 million this summer (I thought) and 24 to Barnes, 10 to DWill, 10 to Powell. How are we supposed to trade for Bogut? And what about Dirk? My point had nothing to do with next summer, I am talking about right now.

Lol I didn't want to go after this. Too tired.
But ftr Pau is getting close to 20 million depending on where he chooses. Could be less if it's SA

This is about how I feel. Bought is a really really good player when healthy. But he's never healthy! Same way I feel about Noah. Great player but just not someone you can rely upon anymore.

At least on paper, I'd say were slightly better. Much of the west has dropped. Spurs and Warriors are still basically unbeatable.
Bogut is better than Zaza. Barnes is a better fit than Parsons. Matthews will get comfortable and if Anderson gets PT, it should be a good year. Still in that mediocre 9th-6th in the West, but slightly improved.

Blazers will not pursue Festus Ezeli or Nene and will turn their attention to Zaza Pachulia

We'll see on Memphis. Health and chemistry are huge.
