This is potentially an AWESOME deal for the Mavs. Some predictions I saw had Curry getting upwards of $8-10M as a free agent... Very optimistic that he ends up as a solid rotation player for us.

If this guy can defend. Big upgrade for our bench.

Great pick up for the bench. Really liking the team at this point considering everything that has happened and where we were 2 days ago.

I wonder if we are just adding depth or if there's a deal in the works involving Harris/JJB

When he was given minutes, he really produced.
Of course he could just be a product of playing beside the awesome presence of Rondo

We just need him to make shots and play defense D and I think he can do that

If it's choosing between trading Devin or JJ. I'd rather it be Devin.

Well he's not getting minutes with Williams, Barea, Harris, and Matthews...
...until three of those guys are injured at the same time
Really like the signing though. Good kid who just needed a shot.

We got Curry, Bogut, Barnes and Dirk? 74 wins should be attainable. Oh Seth.

Sounds like a good signing but don't know much about him.
Will he be closer to the next JET or the next Jenkins?
In other words a future star or an end of the bench guy that we'll end up trading or dump in the middle of the season?
We need a scorer off the bench and hopefully he'll be that guy but I thought the same for Jenkins last season.

He was high in my list of FAs because he has that JET vibe.
But you are also right. Jenkins had that game too. Red hot jump shooter, thin frame. It really depends on Rick and how quickly Curry can impress. We've certainly had our share of guys who live in the dog house.

Speaking of JET I heard a radio interview with him right after the Rockets season ended, he said he might want to be an assistant for the Lakers under Walton but would still love to play another season in Dallas. Would you? Or does Seth end that dream?

No JET....not a 39 yo one. We're better off hoping for a younger version even though it didn't work out so well last season.

It wouldn't hurt to have Jet as the 14th or 15th man to help some of the young players and maybe be used in very specific situations where we need a 3 once in a while

Listen up everyone! 2 seasons ago we got Dwight. Last year we got Deron. Now we have Curry.

Could Harris be on the move with this signing? I like it and hope he gets minutes, because its already been proven he's capable in this league.

I was really impressed with him the last month of the season when he got playing time and was allowed to be aggressive. I hope he's allowed to be aggressive here as well.

Love this signing, this could end up being a huge bargain. Curry is a pitiful defender, but he is an elite shooter, and a crafty, underrated scorer. I mean, 3 mill, and you get an elite skill for that?

Why would you think that? Curry is replacing Felton. The multi-guard lineups shall continue!

Well I wouldn't say he's elite at anything. But the price is right.

Kings fans on reddit say he was a decent defender but I'm not sure what to believe

Curry's April game log. We got a bargain. I really hope Carlisle plays the man.
