Bayless proves again he is human garbage

If Gordon Hayward is gone, maybe for the season, LeBron's path to losing a sixth finals gets even easier.

I still have nightmares about that Silva kick or whatever it was. The shin on shin kick where one shin acted like a brick wall and the other folded like a chair.

If that’s a flagrant foul this league is going to be unwatchable.

@DwainPrice: TNT's Chris Webber on KD's J: "He should pay Dirk Nowitzki 10 cents every time he lifts that leg. That's a patented move he's perfected."

Players are usually given minimum contracts, but after two years on a two-way, players can get early-bird rights after finishing their second year.
Once Dozier signs his two-way contract with OKC, we can't offer him a contract (two-way or normal NBA), because he'll be under contract with OKC.

Let's not let the fact that Chris Paul looked like garbage slip through the cracks of everything else that happened on a crazy opening night.
Nick Young also fits like a glove on that team. Coming off the bench and getting to chuck threes and play no D? That's his game right there, and it looks like he may be improved from a shooting perspective, though it's hard to tell if that's all NY or the massive space given to him due to the GSW offense.

Honestly Gordon and Tucker are better than Harden and Paul.

Sorry, I left out, "Harden is overrated trash that rarely has a positive +/- without getting bailed out by the refs and who has had only handful of games with a better +/- than Gordon. His +1 last night was pitiful next to Gordon's +16. Without Gordon, the Rockets would have lost bigly. Harden is the definition of quantity without efficiency. His assist numbers are good, but his TOs are terrible. His PPG is good, but his efficiency without FTs is subpar for a star. Rockets are also playing 8 guys which is a recipe for playoff success"

It's gonna be hella awkward when Mirotic and Portis are on the same court again... Like, Chicago has to be looking for a trade after this, right?

Late in the game. I always thought it was a poor fit for Paul and the Rockets. I think they're team would have been better off with Melo with Harden running point and Gordon inserted as the SG (that or a defensive minded 2 enabling them to keep Gordon as the 6th man). Or just keeping Beverly, should he not been included in a Melo trade.

My thoughts summed up nicely. He mentions the other guys who will step up, like Brown, Tatum, Smart, and Rozier. But I think the Celtics took a huge hit to their #1 goal - which is to knock Cleveland off of that top spot in the East, much less become a formidable opponent for the GSW.

I'll be watching on November 3rd in OKC when Portis and Mirotic return (if there isn't a trade between now and then).

He's been learning how to shoot FTs from Shaq.

@wojespn: Brooklyn Nets guard Jeremy Lin suffered a patellar tendon rupture and will miss rest of season, source tells ESPN.

The ones I was able to see were pretty cringe-worthy. No guard should be shooting free throws that terribly. Did the announcers mention something with his shoulder? I thought the first one may just be some serious nerves maybe, but both were ugly.

Yea that was tough. He went quickly through the phase of shock, knowing he did something serious, and then you can see the pain set in. Awful.

Oh no...cant blame him for taking the money. But when you screw your team with finishing both seasons in a tuxedo on the bench but still yell nonstop into the FA-world that you are a max player and dont take discounts...yeah then this happens.
Its time to accept for him that he is done and that he pretty much stole a combined 120 million from two teams and no fan in Houston, Dallas or Memphis gives a shit about him anymore. Retire and go back to your instagram account

It's obviously early in the game, but every time the ball has been passed to Melo he has turned it into an ISO situation and shot the ball. Missed them all including a dunk.

Looks like the Knicks are going to be battling for that 1st overall pick. Not because they're tanking, but because they have about 5 players on their roster that belong in the NBA.
