2018 NBA Playoffs
Good lord, Eric Bledsoe is hot garbage today. Milwaukee still in it vs Celts with 3 min left.

Spurs are screwed....i think the bridges are really burned with Leonard...its just completly weird. But with one year left on his contract no team is going to give a kitchen sink offer for a potential one year rental. Just look at OKC when George walks in the summer...

No team is going to give a lot for Leonard because his health is entering Parsons territory.

How do you figure? Parsons had several knee surgeries including micro fracture. Dude will never be an impact player. Kawai just has some quad issue. I imagine next season Leonard is back to his old self.

Uh, it's some quad injury that allowed him to play a whopping 9 games last season. He always seems to have some nagging injury that hampers him even before the famous Zaza play.
OK, so maybe not as bad as knee surgery Parsons, but his health is definitely a concern. Perhaps mental health as well...

Kevin Love's biggest problem is that he no longer has a position in the NBA. He is too slow for PF and can't defend at center. Although frankly, he is too slow and can't defend no matter the position.

I am by no means a KLove fan, but that Cleveland team is just lost without any direction. Kevin Love had 8 FGA including 6 3PA. For a team's #2 scoring option, that is nowhere near enough. I put the vast majority of the blame on 1) Ty Lue as I don't have any confidence in his coaching and 2) Management as they basically traded Kyrie for some ok role players.
Lebron had another triple double which is good except his FG% wasn't great. KLove had another monster rebounding game but was non-existent in other areas. And after those two, they rely on streak players like JR who sucked for the first three quarters, then hit shots, and then disappeared again.
Basically for this team to win, Lebron has to get a triple double with 30+ points. KLove has to maintain 15+ rebounds and get around 20 points. And someone else needs to step up at some point in the game to provide a few minutes of relief.
The internet is going to explode with Stephenson + Lebron memes if the Pacers win this series.

Well whatever happened to Tristan Thomson? He is too Kardashianed to play anymore?
If Cleveland loses this series, then there is no way Lebron stays.

If Lebron leaves to go to Philly, there should never be another discussion of Jordan vs Lebron. Lebron is a ring chaser, period.

Can't agree with you. Bulls didn't trade Pippen in his prime for 10 cents on the dollar. I will concede that a large part of the Cavs inability to surround Lebron with good players is his insistence on handing out contracts after the championship to a bunch of scrubs. That being said, the Cavs trade to send away Kyrie without getting Jaylen Brown or Jayson Tatum in return was pure and utter garbage.

Really happy for Ilyasova. Really just had bad luck in the league the last few years and is now starting for the Sixers.

LOL @ Sixers fans who thought Fultz would be the X factor for the playoffs. Dude played 4 minutes tonight with a stat line of 0/0/0 w/ 1 foul.

We can finally say the Spurs are done. They look so old, can’t shoot the 3, and Danny Green is trash. Wasted season for LMA he’s played like an MVP this year.

Cavs didn’t have the upper hand once the league knew Kyrie was forcing his way out.

What the hell is up with Kawahi wanting out of SA? Is he really so pissed at the team and organization that he won't even show up for playoff games? That is some really bad mojo. This is just the craziest thing every and completely unexpected.
He's obviously gone now. Is the Cavs #8 pick going to be enough for them to trade for him? A Lebron+Kawahi+KLove would be pretty sick.

Glad that Mavs never tried to get Green. He is worse than Matthews.
Remember LMA almost wanted out of there as well before Pop convinced him otherwise so SOMETHING has to be going down behind the scenes.

On the showing up for playoff games, I can see Kawhi side of it. If he shows up, it could provide unneeded pressure around the team. It would create drama. Other than that, no clue wtf is going on.

I can kind of see the pressure if he shows up, but not really. He should be there to support his teammates. Period. This is very much a Rondo kind of move.

Didn't the Spurs staff clear him but he got his own guy and was not so definitive or something? The whole thing is hush hush and I expect some light will be shed after his departure. The bridge might be burned though if he didn't feel right and certainly didn't feel healthy enough to play, and meanwhile the spurs medical staff, coaching staff, and other players were basically calling him out on it. I think Parker even said his injury was worse and was calling out his toughness or something. So while I think he should be with his team if he is healthy I also think there is prolly some blame to go around in this whole ordeal. Kawhi just doesn't seem like the kind of guy to up and become a malcontent like Rondo.

I could be wrong, but I thought the Spurs training staff misdiagnosed the injury initially which is why he went and found his own group of doctors.

Maybe that was it. I didn't follow it closely because I thought it was just something blown out of proportion originally. But if there is mistrust from Kawhi about the Spurs and then on top of that they basically call him out and if what you say is true then they called him out when it was the team staff's fault in the first place... Then I gotta say, if I were Kawhi I wouldn't set foot on the court as a Spur until I was literally 100% and figuratively shitting rainbows and not a second before.

Portland looking at a 2-0 deficit despite being the higher seed. Rondo with the dagger 3.
