Not bad considering we had a high 2nd round pick, the 56th pick, the 60th pick, and a bunch of guys that won't make the G-league.
Bulls had had the 7th and 22nd picks on display as well as some serious talent around them.
We were just significantly less talented.

Mavs play one more game against Wizards on Friday at 5. Other than Brunson it’s Mavs in name only but still.
Then the wait till camp starts and it’s goig to be painful.

Spalding and Kostas need to be close to the organization and in as high of competition as possible. The definitely have something and you dont want them feeling like the grass is greener elsewhere because they have no hopes playing here. They're behind Motley and Salah and obviously Powell and Dirk but their potential is higher than Mot and Salah for sure.. maybe even Powell. Time will tell but we need to see what they have.
Dirk is gone soon and this is a massive year for Powell. I hope like hell the 2 guys are told that there is a huge void to be filled soon and there is opportunity just ahead.

Wouldn't be surprised if Spalding got the last roster spot and Kostas got the last two-way
Also wouldn't be surprised if both of them got a camp deal just to get cut so they could go to the Legends.
Either way, they're second rounders. They have no guarantee of a contract yet we keep their rights if they ever become something.

I still like Brunson but I'm not gonna lie, Mitchell Robinson looks like a steal. You want players to stand out in SL and Robinson definitely stands out. The announcers are kinda retarded saying he has Anthony Davis type potential but he stands out for sure. He basically hasn't played in a year and stands out this much though, I'm impressed so far.

Yeah, Mitch was my pick at #33... Hell, I wanted to land another pick in the 10-20 range to get him, kinda surprised he went in the second round.

It's ok to like Brunson and still be upset about the pick. I still am. It still makes no sense to go with best player available (which I'm sure sure he was) when you could afford to get a position of need. DSJ, Brunson, Yogi, Barea, and maybe Harris at the guard is ridiculous. Not to mention Doncic as a point-forward, and it makes even less sense to draft a PG. I'm sure Brunson will be serviceable, but I just don't see the point when we have plenty of serviceable backups.

Im gonna be so sad when the only thing we get is a weekly article on Doncic and no new news, but this Summer League is unwatchable.
Outside of Brunson, we have zero NBA talent out there and even Brunson is playing like crap

It would be ok if kostas and Spalding were getting heavy minutes. I'm not sure wtf they are doing with the roster.. all these guards and tiny forwards who stand no chance to make a roster. It was an odd start to the game.

We scored 6 points in the 10 minutes of the second
Mavs summer league squad may be worse in the second than real Mavs were in the third last year.

This is easily the worst offensive Mavs SL team I've ever watched.

Also Phil Greene is a black hole. Every time he touches the ball in any of these games he's looking to score and nothing else. I'd wager he has more shot attempts then passes. Not assists but passes.

At least Spalding still looks semi-decent. By far the better of the two picks as far as summer league is concerned.

Even Brunson is pulled.
Now it's just the 56 and 60th pick-- but only one of them at a time. The rest are super spares.

I can't decide if Josh Adams has no shot at making this roster because of his size and position or if it actually guarantees he will make it.

If he had a shot and was more athletic he would be nice. He has a nose for rebounds and creates nice passes but I dont think he will ever be in the league with the lack of the two
