Biggest problem with the farm is there is no cornerstone prospect. There isn't a guy you point to and say that's the guy, we need to field a team by the time he's ready to be called up. We also have no top ace prospect, just some guys who probably at their ceiling won't be better than a 3rd pitcher.

Well said sir. Also to boot, we have ownership that shows no interest in spending in free agency to help bridge the gap on the farm system with an immediate infusion of talent.

Well, you could argue that they have a guy with ace potential now. They have a couple more with #2/3 stuff that have had great success at AA or AAA in Howard and Winn. The talent is starting to be there in the system. I know Howard is no longer a prospect but he is a rookie…so same basically the same thing.
