if they're guarding him with Luke effin Kennard, yeah give him the damn ball!
he won't shoot every time if he gets it regularly. let him go to work and everyone else move around and cut/set screens.

Yes - this version of KP + playoff Luka could equal the first Mavs playoff series win in 11 seasons.

The second half was the best basketball of the Kidd era. Luka did a great job of not fouling again after his 4th. Some coaches might have sat him there.

On a personal note this thanksgiving I am thankful for the pacific time zone. Otherwise I miss the best game of the season so far.

Regarding defense, especially second half and OT was some of the best collective effort at the rim when PG or Reggie was driving. They shut down a lot of potentially easy layups.

Missed the second half, but was pleasantly surprised to see we win this morning! KP is on a tear right now. Not only putting up big numbers, but doing it efficiently.

Nice win, but man what has happened to THJ? That guy can't throw it in the ocean.

And hopefully WCS starting is a sign that the team is no longer run by some silly committee vote.
He was bad, Powell was worse. Center position is now a giant black hole if KP or Kleber isn't playing it.

If our “bigs” aren’t doing shit anyways let’s bring up Omoruyi and see how we do with a 4/5 rotation of him, Kleber, and KP.

Need consistent shooting. Would be a helluva turn if Brown could continue to give quality minutes and he and Bullock find the stroke. THJ is what he is and we knew that, it's unfortunate he hasn't found any consistency in his shot. Trying way too hard to be a 3rd guy when he is a 4th or 5th at best.
And while I know people will harp on the draft and FA misses, let's focus on what can be done now to improve this roster. Trade deadline will be interesting to say the least.

I don’t see how big Mo hasn’t been given a shot. Powell is smart, but lacks talent and size. WCS is basically worthless. I don’t see how giving Mo a chance is any worse than WCS at this point.

Or just sign Tyson Chandler. Guarantee he is better than slick Willie. I've never seen a player make the game harder for himself than WCS. His only basket was some ridiculous left handed layup like he was Julius Erving. Make. Simple. Plays.
But yes, I'd give anything to see Moses get a real chance. There is no way he is worse than WCS or Powell. No way.

Dude. This IS THJ. Everyone should be all too aware by now that after some good games he has a 2 weeks of super slump coming right around the corner.
He's a good dude but it's a total roll of the dice on which THJ shows up each game. Now fast forward to the POs. Imagine him being consistent in a finals run. Not. Happening.

Man. Dorian should not have gone for the ball on the inbound pass with 1 second left. All he had to do was keep pressure and force a tough look. KP saved our ass in OT.

Yep Kp came up big
Having said that I felt like late in that 4th qtr there was 2-3 ill advised 3's that Luka took.
KP was rolling so i thought Luka should have passed up on those 3's and looked to get KP the rock when he's feeling it like it was....
Clippers had no answer for him
Hopefully they execute better moving forward when trying to close out games.

Sterling Brown could be a big x factor because he can handle the ball. I wonder if we might try playing him at pg in stints with Frank out. He needs to get going.
And what happened to Brunson? Seems little to no news on why he didn't play in the second half. Foot injury?

Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd relayed after Tuesday's 112-104 win over the Clippers that initial X-rays on Brunson's injured left foot returned negative, Callie Caplan of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Powell has got to go.
Nothing but layups when he was in the game and there was absolutely no resistance.
We need a legit starting caliber defensive-oriented center.
What would it take to get Turner in a Mavs' uniform?

I don't think the Pacers will trade Turner
He's just the type of rim protector that RC likes

Probably not but Rick had his pets and Brunson, DFS, Powell and Hardaway were among them. Perhaps a combination of them might entice the Pacers to move Turner.

wow. That play is called 0 times out of 20. Luka literally builds a wall on an off-ball player.

On the drive in ISO, KCP hits 23% of his shots. He just hit one against us.
Kuzma 27% on the season and 50% tonight including that clutch three

Amazing this team still does not know how to close out games.
They had a 10pt lead with less than a minute and a half, and a 5pt lead with less than 10 seconds left in the Clipper game and it went into overtime.

Well Maybe we win Monday. Cavs have a good record, but none of the guys that got them there. Seems our only chance at beating good teams is to hope for injuries, because 2nd night of a B2B got us Nuggets, but wasn't enough to get us the win tonight.
