Why exactly is Wood never in the game in the closing minutes? And capped at, essentially 25-26 min a night? Wouldn?t we want our 2nd best player on the team on the court during crunch time?

Dwight Powell is +25 in 18 min. McGee is -7 in 7 minutes.

What a team win.

Survival.

Edit: And by team win I mean the defense. Held them to 65 points after the first quarter.

We should riot if Wood doesn't start. I'd even be OK if Powell starts since he actually earned it.

McGee is dead cap at this point.

When you consider that Luka, Spencer, and Wood combined for 55 shots there simply wasn?t enough shot attempts for those guys. THJ had 9 shots and just sucked tonight.

Our bench is 3 guys whose best positions are the 5 (Wood, Kleber, Powell), a glue guy (Green), and one of the streakiest shooters in the league (THJ).

I would run a 9 man rotation, but start

Luka
Green
DFS
Maxi
Wood

Dinwiddie - 6th man
Bullock
THJ
Powell or Javale based on matchup

McGee needs to start eating meat again. Veganism was fine for producing Shaqtin moments, but you are a Dallas Maverick now. Our star is Barkley sized.

Just like clock work

Luka shoots less three's he looks more efficient team wins

On side not I don't ever want to see another fan on here post a starting that includes THJ in it

Give it already dude is just a chucker who will look good one game and then go 3-4 games afterwards looking like trash.

The benefit is Kidd will no longer play this guy 30+ minutes no matter what he does.

Good win tonight, good solid play by Green again

On to the next one

If bullock and THJ are going to shoot like crap, give Josh Green more minutes. His 3pt shooting in limited sample is excellent and he just seems to bring so much more to the table. It's time for Kidd to give him minutes and let him sink/swim. We're going to need another dimension moving forward.

Bullock we need. He?s a much more mature defender and he was 41% from three. Those two things are why he plays.

But yeah THJ is our spark plug. If the spark isn?t firing, you gotta go elsewhere for those points and production.

Bullock is over rated. Idgaf that he hit that big 3 late. He took 2 dribbles total tonight. Not being funny.

6 mjns left Luka comes back and Josh goes out. Bullock should have been benched instead. MF has nothing.

I'd be giving more of Bulls mins to Green and get on with the show.green did so many damn good things. He ans Powell came on the floor like they just did a few lines of meth.

Why does a guy have to dribble to be good?

I think he?s perfect because he doesn?t. I want Luka dribbling.

Bullock I know we?re piling on, but he was 1-4. THJ was bad but he?s the spark you live and die from.

Reggie is not getting as many shots (neither is DFS) as last season.

I really hope hes learning and its not just a phase. 6 threes a night is much better. AND the team didnt fall back on jacking threes once they got down. Still getting inside. But also the Jazz have nothing inside so that may be why.

Because he's a professional and should be improving his skills every single year in order to contribute to the team. He won't even attempt an escape dribble. If he catches the ball he stands there hoping someone gets open doesn't look to even dribble to get a better angle for the inevitable pass. If you pass to Powell or McGee out of position because you can't risk putting the ball on the floor after being in the league that long, it's a problem.

Dude is starting at SF and isn't even defending all that well. He doesn't move off ball on offense. He's just there to shoot 3s on occasion and be thrown at one of the better offensive players. He doesn't need to be MJ or Jamal Crawford but not even escape dribble or 1 or 2 dribble pull up late innthe clock?
He's far from what I'd consider perfect.
