So how was everyone's Christmas? Anyone doing anything for New Years? Looks like things have been rather quiet around here lately (Rob I'm disappointed )! If I can actually finish studying for my exams (because of my situation at home, I wasn't able to take my finals last semester), I've got some ideas for the site I'd like to finally get started on..
Personally I didn't do much for Christmas. Had dinner with the fam..that's about it. New Years will probably be the same, since more relatives are coming in and I'm just not in a partying mood these days.

I sorry, it has been pretty slow around here lately. Everybody's probably on vacation or spending time with their families. My christmas was ok. Spent time with family. Sister came up from Houston. Not much exciting.
Don't know what's going on for New Years. Probably just stay home or maybe head over to my brothers. I don't know.

Murph hasnĀ“t been around lately, so 50% of the daily posting is missing . I spent christmas with my family, and as always, it has been a good and quiet time. On NewYears I will party with my friends on a boat. We are going to cruise the Rhein up and down, will be fun.
And DJ tell us more about the site, you once said you want it to be like clutchcity. Is that still what you want to do? Just curious.

The holidays are a bad time to try and keep committments other than family. That's why I post a lot some days and not at all on others. I'm hoping that after the 1st of the year the board will pick up.
BTW the more I check out the other Mavs boards the more I appreciate this one. MavsTalk is just AWFUL!

Spent a week skiing at Keystone in the Rockies - with my cousin and friends from work. We drove out from San Diego! I saw my best friend and her husband in CO Springs, and flew out of Denver to Dallas. Now that I'm in TX, I'm spending most of my time with my parents. Two friends have stopped by, and I may go out tomorrow afternoon (maybe we'll just hang out here though). I want every bit of time I can get with my parents. They're so great, and I don't know when I'll be back in TX.
Have an awesome New Year!

murph - you would have one hardcore poster if you do it while on a cruise.

I don't know if this is relative, but my parents gave me and my brother tickets to 3 games this year for Christmas. The first was the Chicago game. It was the worst game I've been to, there was more excitement at our highschool games...plus I didn't even win a Fin bobble head. But the next 2 games are against San Antonio and Utah. Those are good rivalries and should be very entertaining.

if there's any way i can...i will.
damn, i just wish the cruise had fox sports southwest on it.
trust me..i'd rather be watching the mavs games than being on a cruise.. i hate to miss two weekends of NFL, over a week of NBA and college basketball, and MLB signings

That's ONE thing it seems like I KNOW we have in common Murph. It seems like you are a die hard sports fanatic such as myself. Actually some friends were laughing at me yesterday because of that. Yesterday two stations were out on our satellite and that was ESPN and ESPN NEWS. I called up DirecTV and I about lost it. Before I even got off the phone the channels were back on. My friends were standing there looking at me like I was crazy. One of the people over said, "with all those stations, you're bitching about TWO STATIONS." As I told them, without ESPN, I have no need for cable. Also my satellite so I can get the Mavs, Knicks and Giants games. Other than that, keep it.
I thought of that when you said how pissed your going to be without fox sports southwest.
