Thank you AOL!
I've been waffling between Sharpton and Kucinich based on the improvement that Saturday Night Live would enjoy if either of them were president.

Bush 100%
Lieberman 64%
Kerry 62%
Edwards 61%
Clark 51%
Dean 51%
Sharpton 44%
Kucinich 39%
I argue that several of these percentages (outside of Bush) are too high.

I refuse to believe that anybody could take the test seriously and score Kucinich 100%.

I took it seriously. I don't even know Kucinich nor the other people but Bush. AOL gave me those results.
I think it's just the different cultures of our countries. What else?

RE:Who should you vote for?
how do they calculate 100%?
It seems everyone is 100% in agreement with some candidate, and that 2 people can be 100% for the same candidate, and differ in agreement levels with the other candidates.

RE:Who should you vote for?
UL I think what they are doing is only counting questions that you chose an opinion on. So different people may have answered different questions with No Opinion. For those that they chose an opinion, they were in 100% agreement with the candidates. I would venture if you answered all the questions No Opinion that you would be in 100% agreement with all the candiates.

That's too bad, because I feel verystrongy that I have no opinion on some of those issues.

So do I Dooby. I bet that some of the candiates personally have no opinion as well. Of course they'll never admit that.

LRB, I don't think that's correct. Some of my answers were in direct contradiction to Kerry's, and I still got scored 100 % on him. I'm not real sure what their formula is here.

interesting, and the one i like to listen to the most is Clark. So who knows what
that means.

RE:Who should you vote for?
. . .
and I was in 180 disagreement with Bush on a couple, but got 100% for him.
Maybe whoever you score highest for gets a 100% and the others are scaled from that?
Or maybe it's broke.
Or maybe it's just a scam to get people to vote for a couple of the front runners (and make jokes about Kucinich).
The fact that anyone could get a 95% for Sharpton means it's either broke or a joke.

It's certainly not as weird as having Shirely McClain tell us who she would have voted for in a past life.

Well, you already do it, directly or indirectly with the blessing of the White House since the first invation, circa 1840's. Since then, Mexico has been always a satellite country, naturally not officially nor admitid by the Mexican government. This has never been good for Mexico.
On the other hand, the American public and the American media have helped a lot to improve our political conditions, exerting a pressure on our own government and on the House of Representatives and the Presidency of the US regarding Mexican issues. A pressure that we can't apply by ourselves, unfortunately.
Our main and most beneficial changes have ocurred cause foreign people and countries have demanded them. A big shame on us.
I think your vote there counts more here than my own vote.

I guess these results show that I should like Kerry and Dean equally, but I'll still be routing the good Doctor to rally late and overcome the bandwagon Dems voting for Senator Botox (at least for the Dem Primaries)...

So that your results are prioritized according to the issues that concern you most, tell us how important each one is to you. The information you provide will be used to rank the candidates on your final list.
Social Issues
Crime/Education
Security and International Policy
Benefit Programs
The Economy/Environment
How can they put economy and environment on the same item? That's DUMB. Same with Crime/Education. WTF?

My Results
1. Bush Score: 100%
2 Kerry Score: 81%
3 Edwards Score: 79%
4 Clark Score: 63%
5 Dean Score: 62%
6 Sharpton Score: 45%
7 Kucinich 44%
If Bush is not re-elected this year looks like I will be satisfied with Kerry or Edwards.
Something tells me that I should not trust Kerry, he always takes both sides of the issue. When we are in a war against terrorism that is not a quality any leader should have. When Kerry said that the fight against terrorism is basically more of a police action compared to military, I started to doubt his resolve in fighting terrorism.

3. Kucinich Score: 95%
4. Dean Score: 93%
5. Edwards Score: 90%
6. Clark Score: 88%
7. Bush Score: 29%
I also didn't agree with Kerry on 100% of the issues so I'm not sure how this works. I really don't like Sharpton or the other Democrats that much and I don't think I oppose Bush that much. Although the 2 million+ jobs lost since he took office is a huge concern to me and will likely be to other voters.

RE:Who should you vote for?
2 million jobs lost, I thought they said it was 3 million last year. Come on, was it not the Democracts and Republicans who wanted free trade. What will Kerry do if he is elected president roll back free trade selectively? Ban outsourcing or just call the companies that outsource names? We are in a transitional period in our economy, but I have faith in the American business, if there is one country that can turn it around in the world it is the US.
Dont ever be fooled by politicans that promise to create jobs, they can do shit that is Bush included. Just have faith be flexible, trust the American people to turn this thing around, if you look up to politicans to bail you out, you will be betrayed.
If taxing the rich was such a good thing why not Tax ourselves into surpluses.
For me in the end the only thing the President can control is the country's security. Whom do you trust to keep the county safe? We are up against an unconventional enemy, just increasing police and firefighters in the homeland will not keep us safe. No allies are going to do our dirty work. I would not trust our security to france, Germany and the UN.
Offense is the best defense.

RE: Who should you vote for?
It seems Bush is losing drastically popularity since the democrat elections started.
I wonder why he insists -trying to stop the fall- about the weapons of mass destruction in Irak if the issue about the lies has hurt him a lot.
In the meantime, Kerry is raising his popularity and becoming an actual threat for the republicans.

RE: Who should you vote for?
If this election was run the Iraq war, Bush would win in a landslide. Even with the highly reported intelligence gaffs, most Americans think that ousting Saddam was the right thing to do. In fact, I would say that if Americans were to vote solely on which candidate was more able to protect them from enemies, Bush would register the most resounding victory in the history of presidential elections. But the real issue for the majority of voters this year will be the state of the economy. Right now, many think that Bush has done a poor job (thanks in large part to the Democratic primary hype machine). What the average American sees is a job market that is decidedly weaker than it was before Bush took office. They've heard the screams from Dean and Co. about the three million lost jobs, the horrors of outsourcing, the demise of the manufacturing industry. What they don't see is a soaring GDP, historic increases in worker productivity, and a very optimistic outlook on jobs. Bush has not made his case on the economy yet, primarily because he has not started campaigning. When he does, he'll address the issue on jobs and the Democrats arguments will be left as flacid and broken as they were during the 2002 congressional election, when the Republicans smashed them to bits despite the country being in the middle of a terrible recession.
