You are exactly right. We would get no calls and be out in the first round. But playing sac then minny we can meet them in the WCF and at that point get more respect from the refs.

I wasn't at the site last night while this thread was being made up, so it was pretty funny reading through it, particularly the 15 or so posts after stoudamire's layup. But, no one really gave Kobe his props for his play last night, (other than dirno) but I'm in awe of what transpired.

Kobe, Show-be, Drama Queen, whatever you want to call him, decided that he was not going to let the Lakers lose. The three to send the game into overtime was one of the most amazing shots I've ever seen, and for him to hit a fadeaway, hand-in-his-face three pointer with 1 second to get it off? Unbelievable. I think Kobe got his message across with the Kings game, and is ready to take his game up another level after all the media/team backlash. I wanted the Lakers until watching that game last night. I'm now with dirno. I do not want us to have to face Kobe when he's playing like that.

For me it's a hot and cold thing. He took a three from two feet behind the arc to basically give the Blazers a shot in regulation. He then missed two FT's and LUCKY for LA so did the nanny-stopper.

Those were some amazing shots by Kobe no doubt. I like what I heard on the radio today regarding last nights game. That was not Jordanesque, that was pure Kobe-esque!
