For the HOH, I don't know how much he is supposed to make per game, but we all know he won't play out his contract....Grant Hill/Alonzo Mourning esque in that a lot of money for a few games. |

Under (Without Damp, I expect PHX to double-up Dirk almost every time and try to get the balll out of his hands!)
Over (Without Damp, there's more rebounds for Josh) Under (Without Damp, who usually gets at least 2 or 3assists for Terry, I can't see 6. Also DH & DA should see some time against Nash) Under (Sorry but without Damp, Stack & Quis, I have a hard time visualising a win. But I'll be ecstatic if I lose this point.) HoH -- Under ($165,000x82= $13.53M. I think his 1st year is less than that. So if he, out of his love for Dirk or whatever other fancy reason, chooses not to play this game, he'd lose less than $165,000) Edit: Cool title, sike! Since this is one of the biggest games of the year, I will not only play the O/U but also correctly predict the exact results. You heard it here first.
Dirk will score exactly 29 points. UNDER Howard will ferociously snatch 8 rebounds. OVER The JET will hand out 7 dimes. OVER The Mavs will win by 4 points. OVER As for the HoH...well, this one is close. After being repeatedly taunted by Mark Cuban, the Suns point guard attacks the Mavericks owner. First he delivers a solid punch to Cuban's ample gut. When the billionaire doubles over in pain, the Canadian puts him squarely in a headlock and nookies the egregious 'do on the top of his head. Teammates pull Nash off and drag him away, but not before the sellout point guard screams at the disloyal owner: "You can take your four years and 32 million and shove them straight up your ass!" The following day Nash is suspended for two games without pay, in a way meaning that playing in tonight's game actually COSTS him money, which would make for a definite UNDER. But in the weeks that follow, Cuban brokers a deal with NBC to broadcast a one-time, winner-take-all mud wrestling match between ex-employer and ex-employee, with one million American dollars to the winner. Nash wins the battle, and the million, thereby netting considerably more than $165,000 from the whole ordeal. And that, folks, is how we arrive at the OVER for the HoH. |
