Holy Crap...........it's Hideki Irabu!
Irabu gave up a leadoff hit and then mowed down the Angels in lightning form. The guy was tossing strikes with authority and looked damn good. The Rangers win 4-1 in Anaheim. Nice job by Irabu!!!! |

Good job. But do you really think he'll be the closer until Zim's ready? Right now I think he's the fifth starter. If he's moving to the bullpen, someone will have to take over his spot in the rotation.

Irabu should have been left in in the 10th last night. Any time you've got a guy like him that has been giving you 4 nice innings and change with every outing, and he gets 3 outs on 7 pitches, stick with him. That was what made me mad about last night.
When will Park be eligible to come back? They may be able to do some rotation juggling to make it work with 4 guys and maybe a spot start for someone or something. |
