Finley Traded to Toronto
Finley Traded to Toronto
By MORLEN WILEY
Dallas Sports Daily Staff Writer
This publication has spoken to sources on both sides who confirmed that Dallas Maverick's veteran SG, Michael Finley will be headed to Toronto after trading resumes on July 22nd. Dallas will be receiving three lesser-known players in return: Veteran C/PF Bruce Johnson, second-year swingman Andreikie Nautzach, and soon-to-be-signed rookie free agent PG Johan Mohr.
Toronto feels that Finley's outside shooting touch and veteran leadership will be a good fit for their team.
Dallas may choose to use Johnson's valuable expiring contract as trade bait before the trade deadline, or may let it expire as a payroll-reducing measure. Nelson and Cuban have been hoping to get Mohr for some time. Nautzach has shown some flashes, but could swing either way as the off-season progresses.
Mr. Finley could not be reached for an interview at this time.

Ugh... I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the thread title...

"How do it know?" queried the ever eccentric Nelson. When you put something hot in it, it stays hot. When you put something cold in it, it stays cold. "How do it know?"
