Spurs @ Supersonics
3 and a half to play, Seattle looking good, scoring at will, but not stopping anyone. A shootout, tons of dunks, Petro with a SLAM! Sonics by 7, 3 to go.

So the sp*rs think that posting before the game is over is a jinx? Anyone subscribe to this?

Sonics have this game. Spurs not rebounding, turning it over, and not playing defense.
Good night. Detroit and Spurs both lose. Can the Mavs take advantage on Tuesday night?

Is this a Sonics meltdown?
Duncan with the steal and Parker with the layup. I think 35 seconds are left. Spurs up 2.

Anyone with a spurs guy as his signature shouldn't be posting on this game.

Horry with the steal but turned it right over. Allen misses a layup, Sonics get the rebound and Allen with a dagger 3 pointer.
Spurs have 5 seconds to make something happen.

Ginobli turned it over. Finley has to foul and Lewis makes 1-2 ft's but gets his own rebound and Finley is forced to foul again but with .3 seconds left it doesn't matter. Lewis hit both ft's but no time for the Spurs.

Good grief...How can the sp*rs let the seattle supersonics beat them with a last second Ray Allen shot!!! They must SUCK, they have no killer instinct, they are horrible.
Crap Seattle is much worse than Golden State!! Sp*rs had all of their players and they still can't beat Seattle when they could have tied for the best record in the league. They STINK!!
Heee....Heee.... Heeee...

Spurs have a pretty tough stretch of games ahead of them...
Clips who are fighting for positioning with the Grizz, Lakers who are fighting for positioning with the Kings, Washington, Utah, Scary Sacramento, then Big D.
I can't wait to play these fools.

The sp*rs let them shoot 62.5% in the quarter and 52.0% overall. Their defense stinks.
It reeks! They are done man. Chuckle...

Both Det and Spurs go down on same night. Sweet!!!!
Any thoughts about Det's offense. They look like a jump shooting team to me.

Who you talking to MFF? Me...lighten up....I was joking around, ergo the smiley face. I don't care if you still have a man-crush for mike, I like him myself.
Also I'm glad to see we don't fall into the jinx around here. The sp*rs forum is downright anal about it. Pretty funny, I'm going to start a thread there about the mavs just to make them go nuts.

Oof, bad typo:
On the floor, Bowen gave Allen a short kick to the back with his right foot, prompting Allen to quickly rise and get in Bowen's face. Allen was held back from Bowen by Robert Swift and Nazi Mohammed.

I am EXTATIC. I wasn't home for most of the night, so I obviously wasn't keeping track of this game. When I left the house it was halftime, with the Spurs up by 4. Of course I thought to myself that it would be nice if Seattle won, but I sure as hell wasn't expecting them too. So I get home at 5:30 in the morning, flip on sportscenter as I'm getting ready for bed, and I see at the bottom of the screen the final score of the game. The Spurs AND Pistons losing on the same night... I'll consider this an early birthday present from God. Tonight was a VERY good night to be a Mavericks fan. Now my only problem is that I have to wait a whole other day before I get to watch the Mavs administer a beatdown on the Pistons in Detroit.

I assume you're referring to Spurstalk. Good lord, and I thought the folks on this board were bad. Jeez, you'd think they were just eliminated from the playoffs.
