We're seeing why the Lakers are up in this series. I will give credit to Kobe..his biggest contribution in this series has been to simply allow others to get involved. That's helped them more than any of the numbers that he's produced.
With that being said, that three helps out the Lakers.

Knock him all you want, but I hate Nash so %$#%$ much I would be happy if the LA Dodgers knocked his ass out of the playoffs...

Dude, it was an extremely lucky shot. Alot of players have thrown in prayers at the end of quarters.

Keep in mind that LA is up 37-30 and the Suns started the game 11/11 and up 20-10!
Yeah baby... Yeah!

Come ON... I know you would beat him with a stick if given the chance, but be honest... He makes that at a higher percentage than ANYONE ELSE in the NBA... Maybe in the history of the NBA... Surely you remember seeing highlights over the years... Didn't he do it to us twice this year?

With that said, sure it is a lucky shot... He just has a higher percentage on shots like that.

Of course if he had been doing that all year his team might have been a higher seed and he might have been worthy of the mvp. Alas, he was too busy stroking his ego to allow the rest of his team to play.

The Lakers better hope that the Suns' % from beyond the arc keeps coming down.

Yeah, I also find it silly that the media are tripping over themselves to praise him for basically not being the ball-hog he usually is.
On the other hand, the guy is ridiculously clutch and ridiculously talented, and I'm still rooting against the Suns.

That was a great shot to end the first quarter!

Kwame Brown with 10 pts. and 4 rebs. already?
And Luke Walton with 10 pts.?? The Lakers are absolutely punishing the Suns inside.

Walton's in foul trouble early. The Lakers may need a big game from Brian Cook tonight.

It is amazing how little the offense is running through Kobe. If that was Dirk touching the ball so infrequently, people here would be raising hell, (myself included).

After listening to the rapist saying "I can score anytime I want" but it's better when the team is involved made me switch back to my normal kobe-hatred.
As much as I want to see the suns get their come-uppance, I cannot, cannot root for the rapist.

Tim Thomas is really playing quite well. Nice pickup for the Suns. Imagine where they would be without him.

So be it... I couldn't care less... All I want is for Nash to go home before he gets his FAKEVP trophy...

Personally, I imagine they would be in the same place without him as they will with him after this series is over... Fishing!

I am honestly very curious as to what the league will do if Nash is indeed the MVP and he is knocked out of the playoffs tonight. What an ironical press conference that would be.

Same here, but I'm still rooting for the Lakers, just not for Kobe.

Welcome back... Here is a trash can... I used it much earlier in the series when I determined I would have to root for LA!
