I like where your head's at.
After much deliberation, I have determined that the final score will be:
Dallas 101
Spurs 94
Dallas scores the last seven points of the game. The proud champions give a mighty effort before grudgingly passing the torch to the new beast in the West.

I've been reluctant to post in GDT.
My prediction is that if we win this game, we'll only need one more to close out the series. If we lose, we will need two more.
Furthermore, if we win this game, I will be estatic and will be searching for the reasons why the Mavs won. Since those reasons elude me at the moment, I will only be able to conclude that God is a Mavs Fan.

Ugh, I have to leave for work in 15 minutes. What's the latest on Dirk?

No real updates, I'm afraid, other than what Mary said. I bet he'll be at a little less than full speed, though. Maybe just a little.

If Dirk doesn't have his mobility tonight, he better block out and secure the rebound on the defensive end and he better crash the offensive boards. The best way for him to use his size is grabbing the board and putting it back up. He scored at least 3 times that way in SA and he drew two/three fouls on SA in the last game.

Dik was shooting around in the pregame. He'll play. Just not sure how well.

Dallas better treat him like a Spur and not show him too much respect. If they give him respect, he will burn you. His game has slowed down but he is capable of scoring 20+ if given opportunities.

Who's going to guard Finley? I'm pretty sure Howard will cover Ginobli as he's the bigger threat.
I thought Pop would insert Rasho in the starting lineup and see how he performs. I didn't think he'd go smaller.

I imagine it will look like this MFF:
Dirk-Horry
Duncan-Diop
Howard-Finley
Bowen-Terry
Parker-Harris

Horry is out of the starting lineup, not Barry.
EDIT: At least, that's what I think I heard.

It will be interesting to hear how Detroit speaks about the out-of-bounds miss-call a minute ago.

How many steps does Parker get in the paint? That first play looked like Lebron (Game 3 against the Wiz) all over again.

Now they get the right call.
Oh, and I wouldn't have thought the Spurs would go this small to start the game with Finley.

And the Mavs aren't even looking at getting Dirk the ball.

That was the second potentially easy basket in a row he mucked up there. Kinda negated the great block on the other end.

It's not going to come a whole lot easier for Dirk than it is tonight. He gets the vacation assignment of covering Bowen on the defensive end, and he draws Finley as a defender.
