He's just a 7'ft jumpshooter... Dirk will never be a no. 1.
Is spreewell still available?

plus he is a soft white guy, who plays no d, and will never lead a team to the finals
he's more of a pippen, he needs a jordan. maybe stack can fill that role.

no brainer.....re-sign KVH -- this gives us the token jumpshooting white boy.
trade dirk to the nuggets for Kenyon Martin and Eddie Najera....nuggies would probably even throw in a second.
Scan the italian leagues and see if big Roy Tarpley is still around. If not Roy, maybe Randy White can still lace 'em up.
This would give us a) jumpshooting whitey; b) energy and rebounding; and c) offensive presence in the low post all in exchange for a jumpshooting whitey.
no brainer.
cheers

There's a lot of talk about Shawn Kemp coming back. Let Dirk's contract expire and pick up Shawn.

Rumor has it that Mark Cuban plans to fulfill his lifetime dream of being an NBA player. For the past 3 years he has been trained by Dirk, and he is now ready to take his place. He has promised to trade Dirk to the 2007 Hawaiian expansion team + 1 million dollars.

I wouldn't, I'd be sad if Dirk left

If it means 2 more Finals wins, and they happen all in the same season and in the next couple, I'd wonder
"Dirk, who?"
