Take fliers, bro. Of course you can cheat and get the answers. But what fun is that?

The New Jersey Con Man has coached 18 years in this league as a head coach, this year being the 19th. In those 18 years prior to this one, 17 kickers have attempted field goals for his Giants, Patriots, Jets, and Cowboys squads. How about some trivia?

1) In one of his coaching stops, one player took every single place kick. Can you name him? (As a Cowboys fan, you should at least have a 50/50 chance of guessing the coaching stop, if you can't name the kicker.)

2) Over the course of two years, one kicker missed 23 field goals and 4 extra points for Parcells. Yes, this kicker missed 27 kicks over two years. And on top of that, he remained with the team the following year! (If only for a short while.) Can you name him?

3) Matt Bahr missed six kicks for the Giants during the 1990 Super Bowl season. Plus an extra point. When Scott Sisson (eerily similar name to Shaun Suisham) missed 12 out of 26 for Parcells's Patriots in 1993, he brought Bahr back, and the kicker played two more years for the Patriots, for a total of four years as kicker under Parcells. A Parcells guy? Bahr is the only kicker to play for more than one Parcells-coached franchise. Only one kicker played more years for Parcells, and it was the kicker Bahr took over for in 1990. Name the kicker who lasted five years with the Big Tuna in New York.

5) The aforementioned Matt Bahr retired after the 1995 season in which he missed 10 of 33 kicks. What kicker, considered elite in this year's season even if he has a broken bone in his plant foot, succeeded him in 1996, notching 27 of 35 field goals but missing three PAT's?

6) In 1984, Parcells's kicker missed 19 attempts, 16 from the field and 3 PAT's, far exceeding the 13 misses in the second worst kicking year under the Big Tuna. But in 1983, the very same kicker missed only 8 attempts, coming awfully close the least amount of misses under Parcells, which was 6 kicks in total (all field goals and no extra points). Name the least innacurate kicker in Bill Parcells coaching history.
5 that everyone is wondering about has to be vinateri but he doesnt have a broken bone, they thought he did but its just a bad sprain.

The thing that really surprised me in looking at the kickers over the years is how pedestrian Parcells's kickers have been. His Giants missed a LOT of field goals.

Anyway, the answers:

1) John Hall took every kick for the Jets during Parcells's tenure there. This was unusual.

2) That was Ali Haji-Sheikh missing all those kicks for the Giants.

3) Raul Allegre was the long-time kicker for those Giants teams.

4) I guess I misnumbered!

5) Yep, that was the great Adam Vinatieri. How do you miss three PAT's in one season?

6) This one is, pun intended, the kicker. The guy who missed the least kicks for Parcells in a full season was none other than our own Billy Cundiff. Wonder what that kid is up to now?

Good stuff Chum. I haven't heard the name Ali Haji-Sheikh in years.

Both our backup nose tackles are now gone. Jacksonville signed Montavious Stanley from the Rams practice squad.
