Dallas receives:
C Shaquille O'neal (27.2 ppg, 10.7 rpg, 3.0 apg in 36.2 minutes)
PF Tim Duncan (25.5 ppg, 12.7 rpg, 3.7 apg in 40.6 minutes)

Change in team outlook: -2.3 ppg, -1.6 rpg, and -9.4 apg.

L.A. Lakers trades:
C Shaquille O'neal (27.2 ppg, 10.7 rpg, 3.0 apg in 36.2 minutes)
L.A. Lakers receives:
C Evan Eschmeyer (2.0 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 0.3 apg in 31 games)

PF Danny Manning (4.0 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 0.7 apg in 41 games)

Change in team outlook: +2.2 ppg, +6.8 rpg, and +4.7 apg.

San Antonio trades:
PF Tim Duncan (25.5 ppg, 12.7 rpg, 3.7 apg in 40.6 minutes)
San Antonio receives:
PG Nick Van Exel (18.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 6.6 apg in 72 games)
SF Adrian Griffin (7.2 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.8 apg in 58 games)

Change in team outlook: +0.1 ppg, -5.2 rpg, and +4.7 apg.

OK, here is my thought.

San Antonio knows they are loosing Duncan in a year, so to get a nice player in return in NVE is a plus.
Shaq is on the decline (look at his stats compared to last year). It is also evident that a weak bench is hurting the Lakers in their series against the Kings. The Lakers receive Bradley, and EE who should make up for a good portion of what they miss from Shaq. AJ, Tariq, a sign and trade of Buckner, and Manning, fills out the Lakers bench nicely.

The Mavs still have their exception to use, and can fill out the rest of the roster with minumum guys. I also propose a sign and trade of Raef for T-Mac or Pierce.

Mavs starting Lineup
PG: Nash
SG: Finley
SF: Dirk/Pierce or T-Mac
PF: Duncan
C: Shaq

Why not just trade Bradley straight up for Shaq. He is 7'6" after all.....
