How to prove if a picture has been altered?
I know this might now be thread worthy but i didn't know where to put it.
Does anyone know if there is a way to prove if something is photoshopped or not?

If it's a real nice job, probably not.
I've been looking for some sort of digital signature to ascertain which program last saved the image, but no dice.
I think you'd have to show it to an expert.

I'm a photographer, so I'll share my thoughts. That photo was likely edited heavily. The exposure would most likely be terrible to begin with due to such harsh lighting conditions. There are extreme lights and dark darks. If it is shot in RAW, you can use the date from one capture, along with multiple layers, to bring different extremes together. This could also be done with multiple exposures, set to capture the different aspects. Also, the people in the foreground have been lit from behind. This would further cause the exposure to be more difficult to obtain without editing. Also, the lightening and fireworks- to catch at the same time would be next to impossible. I can say with 99% certainty that this photo was heavily edited.

It could be a panorama picture (those that take a couple of seconds to take) and if the people are moving they leave a blur. That could also be how they captured the fireworks and the lightning at the same time. Highly unlikely but w/e.
It looks like a manipulation to me.
