Default FCC Speaks about the epic loss

First off Mike Fisher ur a moron, but we all knew that already. Dallasbasketball.com has always been a joke for unbiased news.

Secondly, stop blamming Dirk... Dirk has always been a somewhat streaky player for a superstar, but he is still a superstar. Don Nelson knows more aboout the Mavs and Dirks game than ANYONE including Avery J.

Fact: Avery was outcoached by his sinsie... no one can argue this

Fact: This is the second year in a row our GAURD PLAY (not Dirk) has failed us miserably. We simply can't defend, young athletic, slashing style gaurds who are money inside the arc. See Dwayne Wade ect ect... We knew last year we needed perimeter defenders and we got some vets who could play a little more D BUT IT FAILED

WHY DID IT FAIL? : We need legit starters who can slash ... outside of Harris occasionaly and stack who is getting old, we are terrible at this and defending against it. Our Transistion D blows. We give up scoing when we put the 'D' gaurds in...

WHAT WE NEED: A true point gaurd who can distribute and DEFEND. Nahs didnt work cause he didnt D up, Terry is a scorer and can't D up or distribute well. Gimme a guy who can start, D up, and pass at the PG slot. Slide Terry if he isnt traded to the bench as a scorer. An athletic 2 gaurd who can D up and SLASH to the basket.

OBVIOUS PROBLEMS: no not Dirk.... 1) we settle for the jumpshot intead of slashing... we are like Michael Finley. 2) Perimeter D has to be substituted for perimeter O ( we need to consolidate talent into the gaurd slots. 3) Transition D sucks ... again gaurd play.

I blame the gaurds for the "choke" last year and the upset this year. Nellie knew where to attack this team, and he attacked the gaurd play by shutting down Dirk and forcing us to keep scorers instead of D guys in the gaurd slots.

Who can we get rid of? : Terry, Damp immediately come to mind...

just my 2 cents

I see your point. What do you think will Cuban do about this issue?

We need a freakin center that can dribble in the lane and shoot the damn rock
I've always thought Eric Dampier was a piece of crap. Now he's an old, banged up, washed up peice of crap.

a nash with defense? i dont think that exists yet. maybe through gene manipulation....its true though, if we lose, we usually lose against teams with their stars being guards:
baring the 4 games to start the season we lost to:
GS twice,
phoenix twice,(nash)
denver,(iverson)
washington,(arenas)
la,(kobe)
detroit,(billups)
chicago,(ok that was 31% shooting)
utah twice (one time bad shooting and the other time we played reserves).
thats probably the top 5 guards in the nba on these teams there - or atleast close to it.

I think it's funny that the original poster has a bunch of horrible grammatical/spelling errors, but then he used the word "consolidate" flawlessly.

Interesting.
