Close the Government Schools

Thanks for posting. The democrat parties willingness to not try private schools because of the nea is one single reason for kicking them out of office. That alone should disqualify them imo.

There is just no reason to not allow vouchers to students.

However I'm confused by the article in that it says:

Back in August of 2004, the first ever federally funded school voucher program was launched in Washington, D.C. Eligible students would be able to attend a private school of their choice in the District of Columbia, proponents declared. Each participant would receive up to $7,500 for school tuition, fees, and transportation.

Why would these bad public schools be emptied? It appears a confusing article because it talks about a voucher program yet only talks about public schools.
