Charlotte/Dallas
Dallas:
Josh Howard
Jerry Stackhouse
Charlotte:
Gerald Wallace
Adam Morrison
I think this trade makes some sense for both teams. Brown gets the vets he loves and both Stack/Howard get sent back home. Wallace comes in as the energy plug at the SF position and Morrison gives Dallas some long range jump shooting with his ability to space out the floor.
Charlotte gets out of an extended contract and saves approximately $20M+.

It wouldn't be my first choice, but I might do it.
Morrison adds a Big shooter, and Wallace takes JHo's spot. Not a big increase or decrease in talent though, IMO.

At a minimum, I see us getting 2 guys who can play now versus 2 who aren't even playing. Even with Howard's return, Stack isn't going to get any burn here.

I like the trade... and it seems reasonable on both ends. Simple enough.

Does seem reasonable. Not sure I'd want to trade Josh for Wallace straight up... but throw in Stack for Morrison and it really makes a lot of sense... for both teams.

Howard and Wallace are equal players.
We get Adam Morrison for a sandwich.
It all works out.

I'm not sure I want to pay Gerald Wallace $10 mil/year for the next 5 seasons...

I would rather have Josh than Gerald, but..
with the recently elevated play of JJB, we do need someone at the bottom of the bench for the sheer humor aspect. Moustache Morrison would do nicely.

Will Gerald Wallace ever stay healthy? Josh seems to miss a few games here and there every year, but it seems like G Force has a gruesome (or nagging) injury every single year. If he could stay healthy for 82 games every season, I think this is a no-brainer because he's obviously a very skilled, highly motivated, versatile player that would shine next to Kidd. But can he stay healthy? is the question that will always be stuck in the back of my mind.
And if Morrison can hit two open shots per game, I'd think this deal would work out great for us. But is he really an NBA caliber player?
