Considering it's the 2nd night of a B2B and he's the only Maverick in double figures, Dirk IS the offense tonight. Jet just seems really unwilling to shoot tonight and Dirk going to be or get tired, so anything we're getting from him tonight is appreciated.

20% 3-pt shooting, but only 5 attempts...

We're missing Jet AGAIN tonight, and we've done a lot better about attacking and getting to the line tonight.

Green was decent. His alley-oop lay-in was pretty. I could stand seeing some more of those lobs for Green. However, his pull-up jumper is not a shot he needs to be taking.
He didn't get burned on defense, though. He probably shouldn't have pulled the trigger on that 1st 3 pointer, because he had a man in his face, but it wasn't a bad attempt. No worse than those Wright and JET jack up at times...
I wanted to see some of Hollins. His fouls are disappointing. However, Singleton stepped in quite nicely with 8 FTA's in the half. Name the last time we had a player take 8 FTA's in a half? I bet we go back a number of games. That, and Singleton has also grabbed 7 rebounds already.
JJ was decent. Bass took too many bad shots. Wright hasn't taken a 3 yet! His drives have been nice, too, coupled with 3 blocks. JET has seemed rather invisible, despite getting the start.
Dirk's a beast. 17 points, 5 boards. Let's see him drop 40? 23 in the 2nd half is quite doable.

That's better than yesterday, 'cause 6-31 are 19,3 percent

Mavs held Indiana to 39.5% shooting, btw. Not bad.

Not a good shot by Dirk. Force the issue by going to the rim on that play in transition.

I have to say those announcers are okay. No homers, I mean no annoying ones.

Sheesh, what the heck was going on there at the end with Ford or a pacer? They were PISSED and mouthing off at a teammate or coach.

The Mavs shot 5 three pointers in the first 24 minutes. They have shot 3 in the first 6 of this half. Kidd made 2 of them but the Mavs need to get inside.

Ugly miss by Dirk on the wide open jumper.
NICE move by Hollins to lay it in.

When Hollins grabbed the offensive board, he passed to the perimeter. Eventually he got it back and made a layup.
Are you taking notes, Bass?

Hollins is productive again in this quarter. He can easily get 15-20 minutes a night. Play him til he fouls out.

Hollin's 4th foul...
He's got to just give the guy the basket. But still, I liked the effort.

But he can't get discouraged. Keep shooting it Dirk.
He aggressiveness (IMO) went away a bit when he picked up that 3rd foul. It's like he is protecting himself from getting his 4th. Floor it and go, Dirk.

Like I said...he's going to be tired, but you still want him taking 25+ shots a night. You can't have it both ways. On top of that, having him take all of his shots in the 4th doesn't make sense either. There has to be some responsibility and common sense. If he's got doubles coming, he's gotta pass it out and not force a bad shot.
He's going to get worn down.

Jet and Dirk aren't shooting well...again.
Offense is coming from Kidd right now. That's not a good sign...

The Mavs look like a comedy show out there right now.
It's amazing how fast this team can lose it.

Again... horrible!
How do they expect to get a rebound with Kidd, JET and JJB??? I loathe this 3 PG lineup.
