He's the superstar. You go to him when you want points. Doesn't matter if he's been missing or not.
Its not like JET's been much better. Nor Kidd. I guess you can go to Josh?

Take that back. He missed 3 shots. 1 was the bailout 3 pointter at the end of the shot clock....
the last two were close.
After the dunk he was 8-17.

By the way, I agree that Dirk was missing shots. He missed 5 or so in the 4th. But that doesn't matter. He's Dirk. Think to Indiana. Think to Philadelphia. Even when he's not shooting great, you still go to him and you often get a game winner.

man oh man finally.
it goes both ways for sunday. a blowout by us would mean a VERY angry hornets team that wants revenge. but a close win means a little momentum for the hornets goin into sunday.
honestly, i dont kno why i jus typed that, cuz I JUST WANT A FRIGGIN WIN!!! and i'm very happy right now. to close out sunday would just be incredible hands down.
mary, heres some GDT starter rep, and everyone else i can get to, heres some as well!!!
have a great night
GO MAVS!!!

I don't think he missed 5. But I agree with your thinking. And, he was quite good in the 4th. He had 10 points and the game sealing drive.

You never ask the Clydesdale if it is tired and can't pull the wagon in the snow. You keep on whipping the reins on him making him go.

I counted 5, not including the bailout 3. But he got to the line and was just a little off.

I think sometimes the Mavs rely to too much on Dirk late. He usually has played most of the second half and when he starts missing shots he usually makes in his sleep the Mavs need to mix it up.

The Mavs' problem late is that everything revolves around the 18 or so foot jumper, be it Terry or Dirk. They have got to get a play or two they can go to to try and get a easier basket. It won't work every time, but they put way too much pressure on themselves by shooting so many jumpers late.

Here, just to clear up any confusion:
Dirk misses a driving layup with 8:36 left
Dirk misses a 26 foot three
Dirk misses a 17 footer
Dirk misses a 15 footer
Dirk misses a 15 footer
5 misses. This is according to Yahoo gamechannel.

Fair enough, the three was a bailout though. And he still had 10 points in the 4th...and the game sealing ft's.

When the tie breakers have already been determined there isn't really much use in listing us as tied. We're in 7th.

I find it hard to believe we may finish higher this season than we did last season.
