It's not THAT bad....its only kind of bad. It's good enough to watch one time, if only to appreciate how sports fans can be sometimes....

Its very qoutable and I saw it before it was really popular so for about a week it was cool to know the qoutes before everyone else did but that movie is one of the 15 worst movies I have ever seen. Zoolander is the same type of movie but its SOOOOOOOOO much better.

Napolean Dynamite is so terrible, and that's what makes it so great. See I didn't like zoolander that much.

There is nothing terrible about Napoleon Dynamite, IMO. It was purposefully campy and what-not, but it was a well done movie.

Zoolander, on the other hand, was funny at times, but was way overdone.

What's your definition of "campy"? My point is that it wasn't suppose to be an amazing, quality movie. It was suppose to be stupid and terrible, and that's what makes it funny. They did a great job.

I understand that its supposed to be stupid funny but it just didnt get it done. Will ferrels movies are stupid funny but they are funny. Napolean Dynamite didnt even try to be funny. It just tried to be so stupid that you would think it was funny. It was so stupid but it just wasnt funny. I would venture a guess that if it didnt get the hype it got at least 70% of the people that love/qoute it, would have hated it.

Napolean Dynamite was pretty stupid, but like you said it was very quotable and I found some parts pretty funny. Only worth watching once.

And what do you guys mean about Fever Pitch being a dagger? It's not good? I've heard some good things about it.

It was meant to have a dark humor ending. THen the red sox won the world series and they had to rewrite it on the fly which screwed everything up. Pretty amaing right? The red sox dont win forever, they decide to make a movie about it(though the book was written about a soccer team) and then they do.

Yeah, so is it good, or are you saying it's basically one of those "let's throw something together and put it in theaters" movies?

I think it would have been good if they hadnt won. Them winning messed it up though. Its not horrible or anything but its not good either. The ending is also EXTREMELY unrealistic in todays age.

oic, well it's worth watching right? I'm not expecting it to be the best movie I've ever seen, but I expect it to be a solid worth watching film.

Yeah, I'm a huge sports fan, and I love sports movies. I'm gonna watch it now, hopefully it'll be pretty good.

My fav recent sports movies have been Coach Carter and Glory Road, but I don't expect this to be even nearly as good as those two.

Yeah, everybody at my job started quoting lines around the time it came out, and when i saw it few months later, i found maybe one scene funny. It just wasn't good. At least snakes on a plane had a plot.

Fever Pitch is a gawd-awful chick flick (and I enjoy a lot of chick flicks), one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life.....

But that's me.

Well, I just finished it, and I actually liked it a lot. It makes me even more pumped to be completley sold out as a Mavs fan

It takes a really bad movie for me to not like it, and although this one's ending could have been better, like 5-0 said, if the Sox had lost, I still enjoyed it a lot. It definetly could qualify as a chick flick, but I actually don't mind those that much either. It had enough sports to keep me interested and enough emotional stuff to make it a feel good movie.

Lucky # Sl3vin, I think that's how it is spelled. Solid movie, and Josh Hartnett whom I am not a fan of manages not to destroy the flick.

Yeah, same here. It's definetly one of my fav movies. It's so well done and balances the great basketball with good values and a good sub plot.

Coach Carter was the only basketball movie I've liked enough to buy.

Well Space Jam too, but I was a kid

Finally caved and watch The Bourne Identity. Good action flick. I'm probably going to watch Bourne Supremency today.

I saw that awhile ago, and it was alrite but a little confusing. It seemed very long and didn't get very good until the end. I didn't watch Bourne Supremacy because I didn't especially like Bourne Identity that much, but I'll probably see it sooner or later.

Has anyone seen the relatively new movie that came out on DVD a month or so ago with Denzel Washington. It's about like a bank robbery and hostage situation, and I think it's called Inside Man or something like that, but I'm not sure. I was thinking about seeing it, is it any good?

Yes, it's called The Inside Man.

Watch it. It is good. You can never go wrong with a three-headed monster like Lee/Denzel/Clive. One of the better B movies of the year.

It didn't seem confusing to me. It had an element that a whole lot of action movies don't, being fast-paced. There was always something happening, and it all worked within the storyline. It did have its rough spots, but solid overall. The reason i watched the first one is because i heard Supremacy was really really good, and they're coming out with a third next year.

on the bourne talk, i liked the first one alot. The second one? eh. Not as much. They had some horrible camera work in the second one. I know the reason they did it was to make you feel like you were part of the fighting but all it ended up doing was making it look like the camera man couldnt hold the camera steady.

Yes, their decisions with camera shots in the Bourne Supremacy were very questionable.

Other than that, I really enjoyed the movie. In fact, I think I like it more than the first, although I really like them both.

There isn't much Matt Damon does that I don't enjoy, although Oceans 12 would head that list.

We saw "The Science of Sleep" last night.

I don't think this one is playing in very many theaters, it's an independent film, directed by the same guy who did Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mine, and it takes on that same "stream of consciousness" sort of weirdness to it.

It's about this guy who sometimes has trouble differentiating his weird ass dreams from reality. and of course there is a girl.

It was pretty good. I enjoyed it.

American History X.

This movie was great. Ed Norton blew me away. It takes an actor that's truly dedicated to his craft to play Ed Norton's character.
