If so, then it makes sense since interleague is about to start.

Does that same thought apply to the Angels?
The season is filled with ups and downs...oh and let's not forget the Mavs were swept in the Regular season series by the Nuggets, does that mean our Mavs with 50 wins were not a good team?
The Rangers are a young team with really good and potentially great talent. This series with Det was rough...but still an improvement over previous efforts against the Tigers.
That being said, it's a bit frustrating to see that the weakest point of this team appears to be the HITTING!
Hopefully they can turn this around again and get things back into the "W" column!!!

... and here comes Holland!
Let's break this mini-slump with a strong new arm.

9 pitches in the first?
at the rate he's going he'll have a career 0.00 era as a starter.

If we can't hit Felipe Paulino then I officially consider our bats to be in a slump. It wasn't just Detroit pitching.

Once again, even as in basketball...a Houston team puts a smile on our faces.

That was sweet, Nellie in the 10th and Frankie looked good.

Another good win. Cruz with the two long balls, I like it. He's in a groove right now.
Hopefully, this day off helps Kinsler get his head on straight and start hitting like he was early in the year. He's really, really died off.

How about some kudos for CJ Wilson? As he gets stronger, that bullpen gets stronger.
Nice to see this team respond after the rough spot in Detroit!!!

Yes, CJ deserves props. But you know who else deserves props? Darren O'Day. Man, he has been SOLID since that first outing. He's the most consistent guy in the bullpen right now beside Frankie. HUGE props to Mr. O'Day.

One thing that a good team does, is beat the teams they are suppose to beat...sweeping the Astros is something that a Good team should do.
Nice to see this team bounce back after being swept in Detroit...
The Angels were the first Major test for the Rangers and Texas came out ontop...now they get their legit 2nd Major test with the hated Yankees coming to town.
With a sellout crowd for game one and already over 30K for games 2 and 3, this should be a pretty rowdy crowd for some potentially great Ranger baseball!!!
I hope the Yankee fans wind up going home crying after a good ole fashioned Texas Beat DOWN!!!

I've got my tickets for Tuesday's game... Millwood v. Chamberlain. That date also happens to be my twenty-first birthday, but whatevs. Gooooo Rangers!
This'll be my third game of the year. I don't think my third game has ever come this early.

CJ is Jerry Stackhouse. He's just been hitting his ill-advised, rushed shots here lately. Sooner or later he'll fall back to his usual self.

Yesterday indeed was a bummer, and the treand from Matt Harrison is also a bit disturbing.
He's 4-0 with a 1.?? ERA against teams with losing records, but 0-4 with an 11.?? ERA against teams with a winning record.
Regardless, the Rangers have a shot...and they need to take advantage of the hated Yankees tonight!!!
Just for the Record...I hate Yankee Fans!!! Especially at the ballpark!!!
I wish the Rangers would do what they do in Europe for soccer games...they have designated sections for the visiting teams...someday, you are going to see a riot with so many fans of the home and visiting teams sitting together!!!

Boy, no joke. It's like west coast basketball! I was getting ready to go to bed. Tie game in the sixth...this could conceivably keep me entertained for hours!

Rangers win! Rangers win!
Wait...it's only the sixth inning...but at this time of night...that seems like it should be a win.
Good job, Salty. I bet we win because of that.

No joke. Effing front runner douche bags.
Oh and I highly approve of the bare handed Salty RBI earlier. Real men don't need no stinking batting gloves, apparently.

7-3 win, great job of bouncing back from yesterday's debacle. Holland is on the mound tomorrow.

Thanks to Millwood for righting the ship, he continues to be the anchor for this improved staff.

Eh, Millwood wasn't very good today. He obviously didn't immediately lose the game like Harrison did yesterday, but he couldn't locate anything. For some reason, he refused to throw the ball to Nick Swisher.
In better news, though, the Rangers gave me a present. The tickets for today's game are as good as rainchecks for other games this season, because we stuck around through the delay (though I have to ask - who would have left, knowing they would have had to have gone out in THAT?).
