Fun while it lasted. Not much you can do when they're shooting 80%+ and our guys are out there building houses.

There's a marked difference between the quality of our young guys and the Laker's young guy except for DSJ/ Yogi. It makes sense -- Zubac was the 32nd pick, Kuzma was the 27th, etc.

I hope experiences like this lead the Mavs to value draft picks (especially first rounders) vs. trying to pick up guys like DFS and Motley off the scrap heap.

Yeah thoroughly outplayed by the others as well. Everyone slobbering on Lonzo but they missed 10 shot as a team and out rebounded us by 10. Motley has 6 of our 12 rebs, DFS has 0.

he needs to improve his 3point a free throw shooting, hes got 80 days to do it, nba players wont let him get to the paint that easy

Dennis didn't even try to blow by Ball and still did. Ball is gonna have trouble defending in the NBA. No question.

Yea, they were a step late on several close outs but the amount of those shots that were falling for the Lakers ended up being comical. That was a rare output for a real season game, much less a SL game. Seemed like every pass Ball made ended up being drained and it wasn't the case for DSJ.
