I always wish failure on the Rockets, but as an unabashed Tmac hater, you have to love the fact the he technically gets out of the first round while sitting on the bench.
His failure of a career is now complete.

Don't you just love it. Artest is a funny dude. "I've been in the stands before". Hope we keep him. The fans absolutely mobbed him when he ran up in the stands at the end of the game. It was great.
Edit: Oh, and I'd also like to add Super Noah. The dunk + after-scream was awesome:

Anyone else think Rondo goal tended that last second missed lay up by Hinrich? Looked awfully close to me. I was surprised it wasn't even reviewed.
Rondo is a thug.

The NBA isn't suspending/fining Rondo for tossing Hinrich and throwing an elbow at him in Game 6. What a shocker.

Horry got a 2-game suspension for his move on Nash, although I think he connected with Raja Bell's head with a hit during the scrum afterward.

Wow. Whatever. They had 2 reasons to toss him, but decided against it. I guess the Celtics are handicapped enough without Garnett in the eyes of Stern.
P.S.: F you, Stern, F you in the A!

They just released some photos of Stern's press conference announcing there would be no punishment for Rondo.

NEW YORK -- The NBA has decided not to take any additional action against Rajon Rondo for his skirmish with Kirk Hinrich in Game 6.
The league said Friday the first-quarter play would stand as a flagrant foul against Rondo. It could have upgraded the foul or even suspended the Celtics' point guard for Game 7 of the series Saturday.
Chicago was leading 34-25 Thursday when Derrick Rose rebounded a missed 3-pointer by Boston's Stephon Marbury with 30 seconds left. That's when Rondo shoved Hinrich into the scorer's table. Hinrich pushed him back and Rondo then threw an elbow that missed.
The league previously declined to further penalize Rondo for his foul on Brad Miller in the closing seconds of Game 5.

What else is new. Pretty amazing stuff there sterno.

I suspected an anti-climactic Boston blowout in Game 7. Looks like a decent prediction so far.

Chicago will come back this isn't last years Hawks Chicago knows how to play on the road, I am not necessarily saying Chicago will win but the game won't be decided till the last 2-3 minutes.

I can't go two possessions watching the Celtics without noticing somebody (usually Perkins) pushing a Bulls player out from under the basket as he tries to get rebounding possession. He just tossed Brad Miller to a foot past the baseline while Pierce missed a jumper.

I can't wait to see Dwight Howard riverdance all over the Celtics frontline -- Perkins and Davis come across as enormous douches so I'd really like to see them get exposed by a physical center.

Wow! Does Doc Rivers cry about EVERY call. It's sickening to watch. And I thought Pop was bad.
And to me, Rondo is nothing but a little bitch. He tries to lay lifeless on the ground to sell it towards a flagrant foul too much. I hope someone knocks his block off.

Rondo is immensely talented and a top 6 PG.
That said, he's a complete and utter d-bag, fake thug, coward. Bulls should have won that series. Props to Heinrich, Gordon, Rose, Noah, Miller and Salmons.
F U Stern, Rivers, Rondo, Perkins, Pierce, Davis, House and Allen.

Rondo should have been suspended, or that foul on miller should have been flagrant, because he fouled Miller on a wide open "game tying" layup. Neither happened and the Celtics won. I think the Bulls would have won had Rindio benn suspended. So I agree with many that it wasnt fair. BUT
You can hate Rondo all you want, but to deny that Rondo is an amazing young pg..is just crazy.

Nice to see the conspiracies ramping up...what about late in the game when House traveled before hitting a 3?
This was like watching the Mavs/Heat...let Mavs and fans think they have a shot and then roll the script!
I'm trying, really...I am trying to watch this league with an open and objective eye, but when you see things like Rondo getting special treatment...it's very challenging!!!
Enjoy the games while we can...the fix is right around the corner. Might as well have the Von Erich's play the Freebirds!!!

I think the Rockets should change their name to the Charlotte Bobcats for a couple weeks. Maybe one week. They'd probably sweep the Lakers.

Dwayne Wade is dumb. First he doesn't dribble up the court in time, then a costly charge foul.

He deserves it. What he's been able to accomplish with that relatively weak supporting cast is amazing.

Magic are close to blowing a 20-point second-half lead in this game.

Pierce needs a new razor.
Edit: WTF... 8 seconds?
Edit2: Pierce is such a faker.
Edit3: Definitely need a new razor. There's no hope for a respectable playoff beard.
