How does an NBA pointguard play 43 minutes and only record 1 assist?
AND shoot the ball 33 times? AND 11 turnovers...
Yeah - I'm pointing at you D.Rose.

Well, he did have an insane A/TO ratio.
3 is excellent. 2 is okay. 0.09? Not so much.

Thunder lost to the Knicks. Definitely could be a loooooot worse in Mavs land.

Just need to keep winning...seeding doesn't matter too much. You just want to get in.

Darn. Only 23 FTs. If he had had 35, the Rockets would have won.

Bad luck, but the Suns are doing it. Just can't let teams hang around and get close. While it is unfortunate and their luck certainly isn't normal, Suns have done that to themselves.

Damn...I hate the way the NBA has become the free throw league. Harden being the chief example of it. But Damn..
Rockets
Pts Harden 40
Reb Harden 12
Ast Harden 9

On a related note I'm really glad the West's race for the playoffs didn't turn out to be as brutal as expected for us. You have Golden State and Memphis at the top, five other teams including us fighting for homecourt and OKC, PHO and NOH brawling for the last seed.
I expected it to be worse to be honest.
Still the 1st seed might get OKC and the second the defending champs

Yeah, fight for a playoff seed isn't too bad-- same .540 or so gets you in
It's HCA that is cut throat. One injury could be the difference.

Wow, that's no small thing - a blood clot in the lung is what just killed Jerome Kersey... Good thing they caught that!

Outside of the Warriors I got Thunder as the most dangerous team, especially after acquiring Kantor. Walking double double. Adding Augustin too helps space for westbrook.

So hopefully Durant misses some more games and the Thunder keep being stuck at #8 and there it is for the 1st round: Warriors-Thunder

So going into half time Rockets and Wolves- a Rockets assistant coach was interviewed and said "they" have guys who like to embellish for some calls.... The jokes just write themselves in Houston.

No smart NBA fan ever bets against the Spurs in the second half of the season.
That said, there has to be a year sometime soon when the Spurs legitimately fail to meet expectations and run out of NO2.

Well Leonard and Parker need to step it up, or they won't come close to the finals.
However, the current 8 West playoff teams are pretty much a lock to make it so there really is no reason to go all out until then. And I doubt there will be too many favorites. Anyone can come out of the West this year.

He was never right anyway. The injury "news" feels like a mask to a poor season.

Is there a player who uses his off-hand more than LeBron? He is so blantly obvious about it.
LeChoke was 2-for-9 on field goals and 1-for-4 on free throws in clutch time today -- the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter and OT with the score within 5 points. He shot 22% from the field in the game's final 10 minutes
oh – and Harden…
30.8 % of his points this season have come from free throws, the 2nd-highest percentage among players who have scored at least 500 points this season.
- yeah - I do not like either player

People always got something to say against LeBron, I was definitely shocked he missed those free throws, but if it was Kobe, Wade, Duncan, or another superstar, the media or people in general wouldn't make a big deal about it.
