I think this would be a nice lineup:
PG Kyrie Irving
SG Dante Exum
SF Derrick Jones Jr
PF Luka Doncic
C Dereck Lively II
6th Man: Tim Hardaway Jr

Kyrie set the tone early
That's how you want your star player to come out the gates with with energy and hustle

I agree here
Luka can be used in different ways now but I know the mavs aren't going to do it.
I'd use him a lot like jokic on offense

Grant Williams already retweeting his one good play tonight.
Feel bad cause I know he sees a lot of mean shit online.

THJ got lucky af. He took 2 early stupid ass shots at the end of the game for no reason and in upside down world we get 2 offensive rebounds. MF had thr nerve to say "We stayed poise" during post game interview. Thats how oblivious he is. Just ride the hot streak while it's here. He dod have some momentum swing shots throughout the game though.

If they are going to keep Josh Green, then 70% of his minutes need to come with Kyrie and/or Exum.

I was thinking the same thing. He should sub in for Luka and nobody else at first.
That would be an abrupt change of pace and if successful, would allow Luka to sit more minutes.
Josh, Hardy and some others are rhythm players and Kyrie keeps them in rhythm. Luka's iso ball keeps them out of rhythm and they are basically spectators until Luka gets them the ball and then they have to quickly react. Doesn't exactly play to Green's strengths.

Lively AND Maxi are both questionable for Saturday.
Maxi found his toe in Fiji. It's all good.

The fact that Dallas keeps coming up so much makes me think we?re not getting Siakam.

I?ve never seen this much smoke when there?s actual fire.
Right now I?d wager 50/50 that we get Dodo or nothing.
I guess we?ll see in the next 3.5 weeks

Well it's Musai we're talking about. He'll be asking for the moon and the sky before he accepts the reality of the situation.
Dodo doesn't make a lot of sense anymore with the way DJJ is playing and having Grant Williams under contract.

If the Mavs wait till the TDL they will miss out on players that can help. After starting the season 8-2 they are one game over 500 for the other games, 15-14. There are 13 game left until the TLD. We need to fill the holes now.
So, tell TOR this is the best deal for Siakum were going to offer. You have until Monday the 15th then we are out.

Massai would tell us to walk. I honestly think that there is a number in his head and if he doesn't get it, he'd rather regroup and attempt a SnT in the offseason knowing Siakam could walk for nothing than take less than he wants.

DFS - 6'7"

DFS is lowest of the three (although almost tied), but Nets suck. If you look at his man's eFG%, he's better than both DJJ and GWill.
I love me some DJJ (and want to like GWill), but even if we just swap GWill for DFS, that is a huge upgrade. PLus we know he's a known locker room leader.

I would swap GWill for DFS but I'm not giving up an FRP to do so. Anyway, can we even trade for DFS this season?

He can. Even if there's a one-year moratorium,it'd end on Feb 6th-- two days before the TDL.

If by some wild scenario we could get Siakam. It eould be interesting to see how the FO would pull that off.

I still have no interest in Dorian, unless we can dump Gwill.

It's a damn shame when both Luka and kyrie are both better rebounders than Dwight Powell

I think we knew the Mavs were losing this one. Especially after the miracle Knicks game.
Trade Josh Green btw.

I sure as hell didn't. I have no idea what games we are going to win or not win anymore.

They?re just a feisty team and anytime you have a real center like Jonas all bets are off imo. He usually plays very well vs the Mavs. They also play great defense led by Herb. If lively played I think they could?ve won.

Embarrassing. NOLA without their 3 best players, and Mavs still lose.

And we still got some fans who will tell us trading certain guys on this roster is too much to give up for a legit all star like Siakam
Truth is at least siakam gives you a legit shot to win even if he doesn't resign here
Those guys that we claim are too much to give up will never help you win here
