How do you not beat a team that has that many simple errors? When you have it down to one out, one strike, twice... It's gonna be an intense night tonight!

The Pitcher was too anxious. Rangers have to pull him

If they manage to unload the Bases, the Rangers are gone.

Uhh, how am I a hater? I'm completely neutral regarding the Rangers. In fact, I've been rooting for them this series.

This has been the worst called game I can remember in years. I didn't think the rangers had a chance in hell of winning this game, anyway. Not a chance in hell. But they sure as hell couldn't do it with Jerry Layne wearing his Cardinals pajamas under his gear tonight. He's been squeezing the Rangers pitchers all night and giving the Cards a good 6 inches of leeway all over the plate. It's ludicrous.

I am wondering if the big Rangers fans are going to see that totally horrific miss by Cruz in the 9th inning of Game 6 as the Rangers' Bill Buckner moment?

He's a horrible in game manager. He always has been. The players like him? Great. Go get someone that can make the best roster in baseball better. Not hold them back by stupid decision after stupid decision. He's a HORRIBLE manager.

I don't think it was a horrific miss at all. It was a tough play. The true miss this series has been the complete disaster of a pitching staff. Not a single guy on there with any balls.

It was playable, but he totally misjudged it, jumping at the worst time. There would be parade route discussions today had he just made that one catch. Now, the Cardinals are running away and the Rangers look beat.

What if I told you a team had a chance to win the World Series on one pitch in Game 6 in the 9th inning, but then gave up a hit? What if I told you that they did it again in extra innings and lost the game? What if I told you they lost the series?

That's a MUCH less routine play than any of the 40-something walks the pitching staff gave up. If Feliz, Ogando, Oliver, etc just get 1 more out? THAT'S a helluva lot more routine. But they ALL pitched like little girls. Every one of them. That's a coaching thing, to me. None of them were in the right frame of mind.

Well, now you little bitches understand the drawbacks as well as the perks of the 2-3-2 format.
Next time, win the phucking All Star Game so Wash doesn't have to manage four games on the road under NL rules.

The Rangers choked. It didn't have anything to do with the format. They had it won.

I seriously hope you don't think that the Rangers being 1 strike away from winning the series two times last night and something no less than a miracle occurring and them losing somehow proves you right, I'm surprised you'd even stoop low enough to bring it back up at a time like this, tbh.

Man, how can it happen that this team with Cruz and Kinsler and Elvis etc. can´t score one f´Ã*ng run in eight innings.

Batting last sure seemed to be a huge advantage for them.

Totally swiped from a different thread, but it makes complete sense here.

Choke is when you have to make plays at crucial times and you make mistakes instead because you can't handle the pressure. Didn't see that at the end of Game 6. They did everything needed to get the win, but where unlucky that the Cards hit at the last possible moments. They just run out of luck in those situations.
