Yes, an obvious typo changes the fact that he is fifth in the NFL in receiving yards....

Bess has 100 more yards than Dez, and the same amount of TDs. Again, sidegrade?

So we have three WRs who all have more fantasy points, some substantially so, than Dez Bryant, yet you call them "sidegrades". Hmm....
|
Because Santana Moss wasn't ever on the table (re-read his post as well as my posts where I pointed this out repeatedly).
And depending on the scoring in his league, Bess doesn't have the same number of TDs because Dez has two punt returns for TDs (I know standard ESPN leagues count those). But again, I said Bess might be the only upgrade of the lot. I don't know where you got that he had 100 yards more than Dez because that number is only 52 yards. Now you did neglect that he has 10 more receptions than Dez, which is important to take into account in a PPR (which is why I think Bess is the only possible upgrade of the lot). However when you calculate the points up, Bess has a whopping 10 point advantage spread over 7 games from yards and receptions. And when you toss in Dez's two punt return TDs, that is wiped out and puts Dez in a 2 point lead.
And as for the three WRs who all have more fantasy points, who is this third one? It can't be Santonio Holmes because he's been suspended for the first four games and incredibly average since his return...

By the way Chum, what is your set-up? Is it 2 RBs, 2 WR, and 1 RB/WR? From what I gather from your posts, that seems to be the case, but my answer does change a bit if it isn't.
And did you do the trade yet?

10-team league???
Get your bullsh!t outta here - pretty much every conversation in this thread is talking about 12-team PPR keeper leagues with specialized rules, not your little bitch-ass 10-team standard-rule noob league!
Get back to us when you have a clue, child...

I think Sananta is the Latin-American version of Santa. He is definitely an upgrade. That sleigh hauls serious ass. On a side-note, I displayed my genius last week by trading Aqua Man for Italian Spiderman and picking up zombie Gary Coleman off of wavers.

How do I link you to a yahoo league that you're not in? I don't think it works that way. Addai didn't do shit early on, not a shocker he was avb. after 2 crappy weeks.

Screen-cap.
(and anyone who has played fantasy football the last few years should know that dumping Addai after 2 bad weeks is a sh!t move, especially in such an über league...)

Generally you can do it by putting your 6-digit Yahoo! fantasy ID in the link below like so:
http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/726699
That's just an example.

I'm not saying everyone is great. Like all leagues, there are 1 or 2 guys who are apathetic or chumps. You do have to have won your league the previous year, but the 1 or 2 chumps could have lucked their way into a win or had a soft league.

Yes, two RB's, two WR's, and a RB/WR.
I didn't do anything yet, no. Today I have an offer of Randy Moss, Kenny Britt, and Marcedes Lewis for Jamaal Charles and Zach Miller.

Turn it down, bro - Randy Moss just got cut by Vikings!
(that screws more than one of my fantasy teams...)

Can you pull a "stackhouse" or "big Z" in the NFL and boomerang back to your old team? Think Belichick would pick him back up?

Moss will be on waivers for the next 24 hours. The Patriots, who own the NFL's best record, would only have a chance to claim Moss if the NFL's other 31 teams pass. If Moss isn't claimed he will be free to sign with any team.

Now that's a horrible trade. You downgrade at TE, and you get nothing with Britt out for extended time and Moss cut.

He posted before he found out Moss was cut.
Do you have that link to your holier-than-thou fantasy football team yet?

I don't recall saying otherwise. And it would have been a bad trade regardless since Britt is hurt and he loses Miller. I don't know how to do a screencap, but I'll gladly take a picture of my past week's victory if it will shut you up for good.

Thank you to Reggie Wayne for sealing my win.
edit: now I just need Kevin Walter to outscore Blair White by 2 points for the rest of the game for the other league.

At my flex, is there any advantage to playing Mathews over Mike Williams (TB)?
It's a non-PPR league and my opponent has Josh Freeman at QB.
I'm not seeing it and leaning to Williams.

For as high as ESPN was touting him in the preseason, Mathews is a fantasy bust.
Plus, Williams is looking more than solid right now.

I overvalued him a bit as well but he's also dealing with injuries and an offense with RB weapons that get in his way.
With all of that said, he's still got good long-term upside

Oh, I wouldn't drop Mathews - I just think Williams is a better fantasy option this week (and probably for the rest of the season, unless the situation in SD changes drastically...)

Join the club! I picked Mathews up in a couple of leagues and it hasn't exactly paid off. But I think that the ankle issue really threw him off course, and he could gradually start picking up steam as the season rolls along.
Williams should be just fine for you at Flex in a PPR. He's on pace for 70 catch, 1000 yard, 9 TD season. If you are getting that kind of production out of your flex, I think you should be more than happy.

It's not a PPR league for this situation.
Also, I was mainly mentioning the long-term upside for the Hardcore league, he's available, but we're not going off the numbers for a trade haha.

I'm sunk in the Spygate Freakout league:
Austin Collie - out
Donald Driver - out
Kenny Britt - out/bye
Randy Moss - unemployed
I have Reggie Wayne and Steve Breaston starting, but I'm still one WR shy of a full roster this week and dropping Ryan Fitzpatrick for someone like Mohamed Massaquoi just doesn't appeal to me...
Throw in injuries to Michael Vick, Pierre Thomas, Clinton Portis and Ryan Torain, and it's no wonder why I'm 2-6 in that league. Like the Cowboys, my roster should be doing a lot better than this!

At 2-6, one more loss would sink your playoff chances, right? You may have to play this one like Game Seven and go get you some Massaquoi!
And BG, I like the Williams play at the flex. You'll probably get more points with him at any rate, but I like the idea of handcuffing your opponent's passing TD's.

Yeah, I figured if he's scoring huge, then Williams has to be involved. I don't see a lot of huge weapons on the outside in Tampa Bay.
The league that this decision is for is pretty nuts, parody galore.
I am 3-5 and the rest of the division is:
4-4
4-4
4-4
3-5
3-5
Other division
5-3
5-3
5-3
4-4
3-5
I'm right in the thick of it and with my roster...I'm pretty disappointed.
