He only exist when he plays the Mavs.

Terry for player of the GDT. I thought Roddy did a better job of running the team late the in 4th qtr and OT than at any point of the game. He got Dirk the ball in his spot a couple times but Dirk couldn't convert.

Speaking of Dirk...
Should have came back against the Suns. This game was a little to physical at times for him.

Terry had a pretty good overall game but that open shot by Green was a result of one of Jets defensive brain freeze's. That was his man and he either totally lost him or just quit playing. He was flat footed and looking away when Green broke for the ball. Shade's of the open shot Miami had. It's like he just fade's away somewhere in his mind and forgets he's in a game.

They gutted it out... I can't believe this game was even this close... For a large portion of the game, Dallas looked like they were still the team to beat in 2012... The defense was championship level for much of the night, until the Spurs found the touch from 3, which was what killed us in the first game versus the Spurs...

Overall, the team is progressing pretty good at this point... We've shown that we can still play lock-down team defense, even without Chandler... Meanwhile the Knicks cant play a lick of defense, even with Chandler... On offense, it's looking like Roddy and Carter are fully capable of picking up the scoring that we lost with JJ, Stevenson, Peja, etc... Once Lamar Odom starts playing like he's capable of playing, this team should be better than last years squad...

I still contend that the team is better with Kidd starting and playing the bulk of the minutes at PG, but his injury could end up being very beneficial to the team long term... For one, it gives Kidd extra rest and less mileage come playoff time, plus it gives Roddy and West a chance to define their roles and develop chemistry with the team...

Based on what I've seen so far this season, I sincerely believe that we are still the team to beat...

at least they managed to comeback and win against this SA towel waivers...
tomorrow against the Suns should be a Win too, but after what the Mavs showed tonight I'm really scared about games scheduled for us next month

Would really be happy if they could go 8-6 in February... but the way they played the last games it could be 6-8 easily

That might be true to an extent, but if you look around the Association, the same can be said of pretty much any team... The important thing to me, is that our defensive effort has been pretty consistent, as has the effort on the boards...

Yep, and that +6 came from all the attention he drew away from his teammates on offense... We don't win if he's not on the floor.

Some folks might be disappointed that it was basically our first unit vs their second unit, but I'm not. Their 2nd unit clearly outplayed their first unit tonight. I'm very impressed with the resilience our Mavs showed tonight. The Spurs hit 3 after 3 after 3 late in the game. The guys could've easily said "They're on fire, this is their night". But instead, they kept fighting hard and eventually got a hard fought win. Hard fought wins like tonight really can strengthen a team. Sure we have a lot to work on but I'll take a win like this any day of the week.

This! In many ways it's good that a lot of our players keep developing. Ian and Wood have been awesome. Roddy is really coming along and so is Odom I think. Delonte is one tough dude and Carter has really grown on me.

Time for Dirk and Kidd to find their groove. If they do, this team has amazing potential. OKC and Miami have the same issues we exploited last year, their end of game execution is awful.

And please, keep Dojo out of the game, that guy is not NBA material.

Ok so maybe I am crazy but I went back on my DVR and listened to what Jeff "Skin" Wade said after Mark and Derrick wished Pop a Happy Birthday. Now I might be hearing things but I swore Skin said "F#@k That". Did anyone else catch that? I cracked up, he must of said "wassup with that" or "forget that", but it sounds suspicious.

“Through blowing an 18-point lead, we were able to get back in the game down nine and pull out a victory. I think that says a lot about our team,” Carter concluded.
