Based on Kerr's recent comment:
What was a better first half in Mavs history?
The first half of Game 7 of the 2006 WC SemiFinals
The first half of Game 2 of the 2003 WC SemiFinals

that's it, Terry. take the pull up when Duncan is in there waiting.
that is a terrible call on Dampier, and it's his 4th. Bring Diop back in right now. Mavs will want Damp available for more than a couple of minutes in the 4th quarter, imho.
KVH in instead.

Manu with a huge flop makes Terry look like Shaq. Harris with two terrible plays on the last possession -- missing Dirk on the first pick and fade, and then the turnover.

The Mavs are wanting to make sure that they have a big man not in foul trouble late in the game.

What are the Mavs doing on offense? Right now, the PG's are making bad decisions repeately. Harris has two TO's this half and JET forced up a bad shot.

bad shot by Terry on the pull-up, and terrible transition defense (KVH, turn and take that charge since Dirk is already back to defend the ball).
Mavs need to start working toward the basket b/c there it is highly unlikely that they are going to shoot the same percentage as they did in the first half.

KVH has to realize that the Mavs would rather see him in foul trouble than to give up an easy slam.

You knew the law of averages would start taking over....Hopefully the Mavs can sustain their lead. They are very susceptible to start tightening up right now....They need to remember what got them the 20 pt lead in the first half...

Van Horn is a momentum killer.
Notice how he fakes the shot, giving the defender time to recover toward the man to whom he THEN passes the ball.
This Van Horn strategy is f*cked. And it's not even his fault. How can he be expected to come into a pressure situation like this and perform after having been off 6 weeks? He isn't ready, isn't anywhere NEAR ready. And this type of pressure withers him when he's on top of his game.
Sickening to see him out there.

Why is the KVH strategy f*cked? They're simply trying to buy some time so that they won't have both centers in foul trouble or out of the game late in the 4th.
