I still love my Finley but George Hill is the future.
Parker is set to return tomorrow.

Wonder if Stern is going to make Miami champions again this year. Stern = Vince McMahon.

What does it say about Golden State's defense when you can't stop a Chris Duhon/David Lee pick-and-roll? I was browsing through the box scores and saw Duhon had 22 assists and David Lee put up 37 points and 21 rebounds.
Seriously this is completely mind-boggling, even for the Warriors.

I think the most laughable thing might have been Nellie comparing Duhon to Nash in the post-game press conference. I don't think it even registers with Nellie how much he's insulting his defense when he makes that comparison.

Then there was Al Harrington who gave Nellie 36 and 12. I'm sure that wasn't personal.
Just noticed that Dan Tony only played seven players. Tough loss for GS.

Damn, I wish I could have seen that beatdown. I hate the Knicks as a franchise but I really like both David Lee and Al Harrington...

David Lee is the only reason I watch Knicks games from time to time.

Chauncey Billups was a +48 for the Nuggets tonight. Forty Eight. Jeez.
Speaking of Billups, where are all the people claiming I was crazy for saying that he's a better player at this point than Iverson?

The funny thing is his stats aren't all that different from Iverson's at this point either. And I don't think there's any question on who you would rather have running your team. I don't remember whether I vocalized it on this board, but I'm definitely in the Billups > AI camp.

Yeah but if their stats are the same, then you break the tie with the fact that Billups is an elite defensive player and AI....is not.
But you know that.

Anybody knows where to find plus/minus statistic one game record? I know Ray Allen had +45 but I think every Pistons fan cries when he/she notice Billups +48.

G.S. is giving up 131 a game in their last four! Even teams that don't want to run are lighting them up.

I saw that Warriors and Spurs box score.......WTF is that lol. I saw Finley and Parker had 17 points in 20 minutes than I saw Duncan have some crazy ass statline in like 20 minutes. What the hell did the Warriors do? Just stand there and watch them score?

The Warriors were pretty bad last night. I think the Spurs were only up 16 at the half but Jackson (reinjured his left hand) and Maggette (rest) didn't play in the 2nd half. It probably wouldn't have mattered anyway but that does make a difference.
The Spurs were moving the ball the best I've seen them and were not relying on 4 down the whole game. It was a team effort and they dismantled the Warriors in every area. The Warriors are now 0-21 in that building.
I do like this Warriors team though. If they can get it together they might be something special. Biedrins, Ellis, Jackson, Maggette, Crawford, Azubuike, Turiaf, and Wright are a nice foundation. Throw in 2 (Randolph, Morrow) of the young guys to develope and I like there chances next year.

If they can't stop anybody now what's going to change next year? Somebody posted a Scott Ostler column on another board where he threw out the theory that Nellie was trying to get fired again.

Rockettes lose by double digits @ Memphis. Anybody shocked that yet another Houston team isn't living up to its rep on paper?

Why didn't Artest play?
It's hard to win w/o Tmac (expected) and Artest.

Thing is, Houston fans can't use injuries as an excuse, because injuries are simply going to be a persistent part of that team given its current roster.

So...
The Hornets lead the division at 11-6.....17 games playes
The rockets at 13-8....21 games playes
And the mavs and spurs both have 8 losses as well, but only 11 wins.
Interesting scheduling.

I don't think we play NO for the first time until January or something. The schedule is whacky.

Maybe nothing. I think injuries (Ellis, Jackson, Maggette, and Azubuike is playing through his 2 ankle sprains) and the new players (Maggette, Crawford) have made it hard to get some consistency. At least Nelson is letting some of the young guys (Randolph, Wright, Morrow) play.
If they continue to slide then they get another high draft pick to work with. At some point you have to not wish for a high draft pick but a year of transitioning isn't such a bad thing.
