Spurs fan here, and I just wanna say the Mavs were very impressive tonight. Even when we went up 16 I knew the game would be close in the end.

Strange, but I feel like no matter what players are suited up, if it's between these two teams it's gonna be very close and competitive.

Look forward to seeing you guys in the WCF!

Hope Dirk gets back soon.

I agree that was puzzling as well. Jason Kidd and Jason Terry both left a lot to be desired. There's really not much else to go to in regards to the 2 guard position so I can see why you would hope JET would get out of his funk during the game. But having 0 minutes from your big man Haywood? That's ridiculous.

I don't care about triple doubles. How many triple doubles did Bill Russell have while getting 11 rings? I don't care about that. 5-15 from the field is unacceptable. Jason Kidd shouldn't even be shooting 15 shots even with Dirk out.

It's kind of hard to single out Kidd tonight. I realize that he didn't shoot the ball very well (and I really didn't like some of the shots he took), but he played very well in all other aspects of the game (13 assists, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals). I'm not sure I see a player on the roster who played an amazing all-around game so singling Kidd out is pretty odd. I wasn't singling Kidd out. I was saying JET and Kidd shooting from the field is unnacceptable. You're not going to win many games with your primary backcourt options going 8-31 from the field. You're just not.

I see what you're saying. I brought up Bill Russell because he's someone who has 11 rings but doesn't have many or any triple doubles. I'm of the belief that regardless of his triple double tonight Kidd offensively didn't have a good game. I don't know I probably should be more impressed by the triple double. I don't believe he should be taking 15 shots. Especially with some of the shots he threw up tonight.
