Well time to put on the Cavs gear, cause Lebron James is beast.

Houston is screwed. They have to go up against Crawford AND Bavetta.
Sucks for them.

If the referees call it down the middle (but when do they ever?) I think the Thuggets (as much as I hate them now) would have a great chance to go to the NBA Finals and face the Cavs.
But Vince McMahon wants to see Cavs/Lakers.

Don't think so. I'm still saying the Lakers win the next two, though this team has a lot of heart.

Lakers play down to their competition. Doesn't shock me one bit they let the Rockets beat them without their whole starting lineup lol.

Brooks is going to have to put up Tmac type numbers for Rockets to have a shot also Artest will have to start playing team basketball instead of taking a bad shot after another, be interesting to see if they can win in L.A without Yao

Big Baby Davis hits the final two shots for the Celtics, including the buzzer beater for the win.
Good thing the Mavs drafted Fazekas.

That blogger (Tim Mcmahon or whatever his name is) for the DMN sure turned out to be right about that guy. I remember he was on about that for weeks before the draft. "Draft Big Baby!"
And we got Fazekas. We r teh awesome.

I just don't get how any team in the 20's let him drop to the Celtics. I thought at the very least he'd be a solid rotation guy even without the weight loss. But clearly his weight is why people were concerned but i'll never understand how people were willing to draft Tractor Traylor in the lottery and weren't to get this guy in the 1st round. I thought Fazekas would be solid for us. Especially just backing up Dirk. In hindsight Big Baby clearly was the way to go.

In fairness, I actually thought Fazekas could contribute as well. I thought Big Baby would probably be a better choice -- mostly because I had just a month prior watched him and Tyrus Thomas singlehandedly eliminate UT from the Elite 8 -- but I wasn't completely down on Fazekas.
Unfortunately, not only did Big Baby pan out, but Fazekas completely didn't.

Two questions: 1) Why is there some guy in Lakers gold at a Magic game? 2) Why is said guy in Lakers gold jumping up and down celebrating like a Celtics fan?

At this point there’s no question about which is the better player but Fazekas would have been the better fit. We could still use another shooter.
As far as Davis I’m not sure where he’d play for us. For that matter where would he play for the Celtics if Garnett was available? He's too slow to guard 3's and since he doesn't have Bass' athleticism I'm not sure we could play him at the 5 the way we do Bass. As bad as the Dirk/Bass front line is defensively Dirk/Davis could be even worse.
Still, you have to give the kid credit for having the grawls to take and knock down big shot after big shot in the playoffs.
BTW, are you ready to admit that Rick Adleman is a good coach yet .

I just caught a bit of Delonte West's postgame presser. That guy may just be the most illiterate sounding person in the whole NBA.

Watch the kid in the bright orange shirt in the stands when he starts running. Did he jump off of something?? And his expression is funny as hell, lol.

Could ask the same thing about the guy in the Lebron jersey.

Link???
To me, Derrick Rose sounded the most uneducated after game 1 of the 1st round. Sounded dumber than a pile of bricks. But then again, he did attend Memphis.

And that non-call on the shot clock violation was stupid, too. It barely grazed the bottom of the net, the ref closest makes the correct call, then with nothing to show that it could have hit the rim, they just go ahead and over turn it.
