I don’t know if any team in the history of sports has ever been so reliant on one person.

Well at least game 7 was close so there was drama.
Green really showed up. That was huge. JR Smith too...didn't expect that. Hill also made some key plays.
Lebron with the usual elimination game heroics. Easy to take it for granted.
Thought the Celtics were beyond youthful jitters but they looked unnerved late. They missed a ton of open shots. (The Warriors have to be drooling looking at that tape)
So I guess that's a wrap for the season unless Houston pulls a win out somehow. At least that would have an element of the unknown in the Finals. I suppose they are obligated to play the Finals anyway if the Warriors get there. Maybe the Warriors get 4 key injuries to Curry, KD, Thompson, and Green to even the teams out.
Brad Stevens put what Lebron has done for 8 seasons into perspective. The NBA season is an incredible grind. Go to 4:35:

Maybe so, but that doesn't at all diminish what Lebron has done as far as I'm concerned. Again, I go back to the Magic Johnson comparison. The East today is not any weaker than the West was in the 80s. That Lakers team went to the finals 9 times in 12 years. That was a monumental accomplishment, and unlike Lebron, Magic had multiple Hall of Fame teammates.
I don't care how weak the conference is. Eight consecutive finals appearances is amazing.
The East vs West thing is also a little bit overblown today, I think. The West is still better, but it's nowhere near as lopsided as in years past. You have two powerhouse teams in Houston and GSW, and a whole bunch of middle-of-the-pack teams. It's not like the early 2000s when the 6th seed in the West would win 55 or so games and the 1 seed in the East would barely crack 50. With Boston and Philadelphia on the rise, the two conferences look to be much more balanced over the next several years- especially if Lebron goes to the Sixers.

KD ain’t an alpha. He’s letting Green punk him. Don’t know how anyone can root for Draymond and KD aka “35 twitter accounts.”
I’m still firmly on the anyone-but-the-warriors bandwagon.

well certainly not a warriors fan but at least don't have to deal with whiny Chris Paul and stupid beard. Go Lebron - take down the warriors all by yourself.

Ah and i wish the Rockets fun giving a 32y old injury prone Paul the supermax contract that he is going to demand (and got promised when he would force a trade to the Rockets).
